not flexible leather
Technically, the shoe is the right size and width (I have wide feet). But, because the leather is on the hard side, it doesn't accomodate a little stretch needed to conform to my feet. It pushes on the side of my foot below the left big toe, but only when I sit for a long time. It's weird. I'll keep them and hope they break in.

Good shoes
These shoes are very comfortable and I really like that they have a zipper on the side.

Somewhat cute and wwll-made
Whoever gets the blue and burgundy ones: you are soo lucky, for your ankle guard comes with a sweater-like pattern. The other colors, like my grey one, have a rugged all-around grey foam. The online photo was taken at a cute angle which minimized this. Also, the sole is rugged for ice and stuff, which we dont get in SoCal- we just likw to look fashionable while pretending to deal with the elements. The size 8 wide is much larger than in Propet's regular shoes, but a thick sock fixed that. These are keepers, tho, because of very good quality and the grey suede-- so hard to find!

Not perfect but keeping them
Nine extra wide, black suede. One nice fact about these boots is the side zipper. However, the pair that I received has 1 inch of the flap inside the zipper torn away from the shoe. I am not sure if this is a rip or a bad sewing. It is, however a quality control issue. I was surprised that the laces do not stay as well tied as I expected so there will be knotting to keep them tight The heel counters are a bit stiff, but that’s expected with brand new boots I like the fabric at the back at the top of the boot, it’s nice and comfortable. I think the arch support is minimal but I do have other arch supports. I can insert. Personally, I do find the ankle is a bit more narrow than I expected, and the front of the shoe a bit wider However, …..Seeing as I have incredibly hard feet to fit and seeing as I live outside of Buffalo New York, where we just had a massive blizzard and I was without boots, I am going to keep these, but if it was it some other time of the year and I wasn’t afraid of more snow? I’m not sure I would be keeping them. I would be returning them for a non-defective pair. I don’t think it’s a massive defect if it’s only the inside of a zipper but I will have to be careful when I put them on and zip them up . Whether it’s quality control that resulted in me getting a pair of boots with a zipper flap that was defective or whether it was someone having them before me? Sorry that’s what lost you stars. I expect better from you Propet! I have several other pair of your shoes, and I love them, and the size is the same and these are not exactly what I consider true to size. It all boils down to one thing: when you live in a blizzard/snow/winter/area? you have to have boots these will work for this year. Hopefully I will love them. I’m just sad that I got a pair with a defect.

New Favorite booties! Cute, comfortable, warm and wide enough for my fat old feet!
I have wide feet, fallen arches and a bunion on my left foot. (sexy, huh?) Was taking a trip to Amsterdam in January and knew I'd be doing a lot of walking in cold and sometimes rainy weather. I walked all over that city and I'm 61 years old. My feet never hurt and they were never cold. The suede held up pretty well in the rain, too. Plus, they are so cute! I'm fixin' to order another pair because I may just wear them in the summer time too! I was a bit concerned because I got them just a couple of days before we left. Anyone who has ever been to Amsterdam or Disneyland (opinions may vary as to which is truly the happiest place on Earth) will tell you, do NOT wear new shoes. But, they broke in so fast I was in love with them before I ever got on the plane. Additional note: ****Just bought my second pair and I noticed that I bought a 7 (XXwide). I usually wear a 7.5 W or an 8W. The 7 fits even with really thick socks. And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is how you sell women's attire!

Comfortable Bootie
I have a wide foot with a high instep & it seems nearly impossible to find a boot, any boot, that I can get on my foot. Years ago, I had a similar Propet boot that I wore out. I was delighted to find this one. It fits perfectly! I have plenty of room in the toe box and I can lace the boot to a snug fit on the ankle. I wore them right out of the box and got in 12K steps. Only time will tell as to how they will hold up.

These boots fit very comfortable
It is very hard to find shoes or boots in a size 10 XX-Wide. My and ankles are swollen due to Arthritis and water retention. These boots and other shoes, I have bought from this company are so comfortable and fir perfectly.Thank you so much for making shoes that people like me need.

Extra comfy width meant I had to order a whole size down
I am so happy to FINALLY have a pair of shoes that fit my incredibly wide and short feet comfortably. I found that these fit a lot larger than I expected. I ordered 7.5 4E but they were quite a bit too big. Returned those and ordered a 6.5 4E, and they were perfect. Never in my life have I fit into a size 6.5 but the extra width means these fit perfectly. They are very nicely made and sturdy shoes. The laces seem a bit filmsy, but they are easily replaced. They might last OK since I'll be using the zip to get in and out rather than the laces anyway. So far, so good. I'll be looking at what other super wide shoes I can buy from Propet.

Comfort style and practicality
Excellent boots for walking, but in really wild weather the rain can get in. I have this boot in two colours and might even buy more as they fit me well.
