Cool looking, narrow focus light

I love how it looks, how the fan works, and the remote. The ONLY thing that could be better is the light. It’s a really cool streamlined design, but that makes it shine in a narrow focus instead of having an even light across the whole room. I’m still happy with it because I have other accent lights in the room and it’s worth the trade off to me to have the cool minimalist design.

Remote required

I bought a used one from Amazon. We installed it and there was no remote. It was not functional without a remote. It looked nice and I even went as far to call the company to see if I could get a remote and they didn't have any. Thus we took and down and returned it. As always no issues with Amazon returns.

Great; almost perfect

This is a super low profile, EXTREMELY QUIET, good looking fan. The remote, and subsequent ability to change the airflow direction without standing on the bed, is a major plus—as long as we don’t lose it. There is no pull cord for backup. ???? A few drawbacks—the instructions say ‘DO NOT wire fan motor to a wall control’. Unfortunately, our light/fan is attached to a wall switch (which our electrician assured us was safe to use). It appears to be because the fan can’t work with a dimmer switch, which seems silly since the attached light is meant to be dimmed. It would’ve made more sense for the light and fan to work independently of each other. Having to find a remote to turn on the light is a little backwards. I need two—one by the bedroom door to turn it on, and one by the bed to turn it off. The light is controllable, but not in any clear fashion. If you hold the button down, it will get very bright then start to dim; but there are no light settings. Our last fan light provided more breeze and 4 speeds; this one has 3 and is refreshing, but not a rush of air. Overall, I am very pleased with the appearance of the fan and light, but would recommend some minor tweaks in its operation. Still, for the reasonable price tag—it’s a great buy and I would recommend it.

Great Fan

I love the sleek, minimal look of this fan. We installed it in a 10’ x 10’ bedroom and I was a little concerned it wouldn’t work when I ordered. However, the size of the fan itself isn’t overwhelming in the room at all. We live in the desert and this room has an east facing window so I’m hopeful this will sufficiently cool it since it’s rated for a bigger room. I love how these are really tucked in to the ceiling nicely and aren’t low hanging with hideous lights and pull chains like the fans we are replacing. This is very quiet and I’m excited to install more of these in our other bedrooms.

It looks and sounds great. I didn't install it. So, I don't know how hard, or easy installation is. I am very happy with it.

Easiest Fan Install Ever

Best thing about this fan is the ease of installation. Remote receiver is built into the fan, so rather than having to hookup and stuff 5 wires and a receiver box into a small space, simply hookup the black, white and ground wires. It also provides a convenient hook to hang the motor on while attaching the wires. The only difficulty is lining up the blade holes to screw them in, but with a little patience, not a big deal. Also love the look of the fan.

Shhhhh

This fan is VERY quiet. It's actually the second one in my home. The installation is quite straight forward, and if you've ever replaced a light fixture, you'll have an easy time with this. It's a tad bit expensive, but worth it. Post installation recommendation: Remove your wall switch and connect the wires without the switch. Next attach a blank outlet cover over where the switch was, and use double-sided tape to attach the back plate remote holder over the blank cover.

Beautiful and modern design

I purchased 3 of these fans and installed them in 3 bedrooms. I am extremely pleased with the overall quality and look of them. The are well constructed and very aesthetically pleasing, with a clean modern design. Instillation was a challenge, as the base screw holes doesn’t allow much room to attach the outer cover. The screw holes on the units base and cover didn’t line up on one of the fans, but I made my own adjustments. The remote is a great feature, but I would rather a different way to dim the lighting. Overall the quality of this product is good and the price for this unit is great. I would recommend this product and would purchase again.
