Pump problems
I really like the lotion itself. The moisturizing, the fragrance, the graphics/packaging. However, after the first order worked fine, the second time I ordered it the pump would not work. Thus, I'm bypassing the pump and wiping lotion off the tube, which gets messy. Especially as it runs low. They might consider looking for alternative pump options.

I Like This Very Much
Although the ingredients list looks complicated, most of what is listed consists of natural oil derivatives that are of, at most, low concern (safe to eat). There are no parabens or paraffins or other known bad actors. The one ingredient that gives me pause is "parfum" or fragrance. It's kind of like the "natural and artificial flavors" of skin care. What is it? We don't know. Could be anything. Other than that, I really love this lotion. Rose de Mai is one of my all time favorite scents, and the lotion softens without plumping you up or pulling moisture from elsewhere in your body. It soaks right in and doesn't leave behind a strong fragrance, just a hint of roses. It costs quite a bit more than a regular drugstore lotion, but it's really really nice.

Wonderful
the scent is so perfect for anyone wanting to smell like a bed or roses. I would describe the fragrance as sweet but also slightly tart, truly like a rose. It’s not an overpowering scent but a clean light one that lingers throughout the day. The consistency is also very nice. It’s very moisturizing and doesn’t “sit” on your skin. I’ll buy this lotion till they stop making it.

Quickly vanishing scent
I had a bottle of Pre de Provence wisteria lotion that I adored, but they don't make that one anymore. Disappointing, but okay, I like rose fragrances, too. This lotion smells great and moisturizes...but the scent doesn't linger. I even bought a bar of the rose du mai soap to help layer the scents, and it didn't matter. Once the lotion has dried, I can't smell anything of it on my skin. The wisteria lotion, on the other hand, was perfect -- light, not cloying, not overpowering...but I COULD actually still detect it. I might as well buy an unscented lotion at that rate.

smelling like a rose
If you love the smell of real roses, this is the closest you will get to the scent of an actual rose! Wonderful lotion, wonderful scent. Not a heavy lotion, just perfect in every way. I can't live without this lotion now!
