Too thick, not spreadable

While this does seem to be a higher quality adhesive (compared to regular Mod Podge), it’s very thick and crumbly. Kind of hard to explain, but it’s just not as spreadable as other decoupage mediums, and if you’re working with thin paper, be very careful. I don’t think I’d buy it again.

Works As Well and Maybe Better Than ModPodge

I bought this to decoupage oyster shells and a few wooden trays. Normally I use ModgePod and wanted to see if this was better. It worked as well, maybe better than ModPodge, but the difference was nominal. I did seem to have less tearage of my paper napkins when painting over, but that could have been technique and/or brush used. I would certainly use it again.

As an asthmatic, strong scents can trigger attacks. I love crafting, especially decoupage, and I simply couldn't do it because of the strong scent. Home made Mod-Podge recipes didn't work as well and I hesitated to use them if I was spending money on projects that, when adding up the components, were an investment in $ & time. When I discovered this product, I was delighted. There is no compromise on quality or dependability or performance. The finished product looks professional and the price is extremely reasonable. Best of all, it's safe for me to use--even indoors.

Best product for decoupage

I will never understand why anyone would use anything else for decoupage. It allows you to slide the rice paper around with ease before setting it how / where you want. I think Mod Poge is awful in that respect. They are made by the same company & if you look at the comments/ response by the company they even admit this is the higher-end version of Mod Poge

I bought this because I read it worked better on magazine paper than Mod Podge paste. This stuff works, but believe me, making collages with magazine paper is still very problematic (rips, stretches, bubbles, etc). Royal Coat does not solve anything that I can see. It works as glue, but I don't see any advantage over Mod Podge. But I'm a novice at this. This may be better (than Royal) in ways I don't see yet.

Poor consistency this time . Quality and consistency of product

I’ve used this for years and this bottle was a poor batch . Not nearly as sticky . I had trouble gluing papers together this time . So disappointing as I rely on this product for income .

Perfect for bible journaling and using the napkin technique

Perfect for bible journaling and using the napkin technique. I apply it over the napkin and it gives it a beautiful shiny finish and seal everything in. Love the texture too. Dries clear and isn't sticky after it dries.

Good product usually

I loved this product in the past, but this item came defective with a large hard clump in the middle with hard flecks throughout. It's completely useless. I'm trying to return it but the Intelecom driver never shows up. I've rescheduled 5 times. Waiting today again for the driver to pick up my return. I made a complaint to Intelecom but they did not respond. Still trying to return this for a refund. Service is horrible unfortunately.

Great girl a craft project

This is great stuff! I tried painting it on Autumn leaves picked up in the garden and it dries clear and brought out all the colours as well as strengthening them. It also worked really well on ordinary coloured paper, gave it a really lovely sheen. Great for a craft project
