Best filters ever

These are the best pre- filters around, I have tried other brands and they do not compare in quality at all to these

Great at catching pet hair and large objects

These prefilters last a long time and can be reused for a while before replacing. They do a great job at catching the large objects and protecting the pump in the fountain. Are these required for the water fountain to work? No. But is it highly recommended to use these? Yes. Large particulates like cat hair and food can get stuck in the water fountain without this. These fit snuggly around the water fountain base and are really straightforward to put on. Petsafe says these last 1 to 2 months. I usually replace them after 1 month. However, if you stay vigilant about cleaning your fountain, I can see these lasting 2 months with no issues. You can easily wash out anything that may have collected on the filter and it'll basically look like new. Overall, I like these more than the charcoal filters because of how easy these are to use and how effective they are. However, the charcoal filters serve the function of keeping the water clean so the two must work in tandem for your water fountain to stay nice.

Great product!

Exactly as advertised! Note: it may not last as long as it says if your cat is as messy as mine and drops bits of food in the water… If bits of food get in the water, expect there to be slime build up on the filter faster than normal, and it’s not that easy to clean out since it gets inside. But it definitely does its job!

Fantastic. Just buy these.

Buy these. Don't waste your time and money on a generic brand. I have a house full of animals. They all drink from the fountain. These filters are fantastic! I already tried the generic ones for y'all. These are worth their price. Just buy these.

Low cost for a consistent Clean!

THIS... Is PetSafe's replacement filter, and to keep things short and sweet here is a great low-cost filter replacement. They are not really reusable (at least with my dogs) so I have to throw them out after a month or so of doggage. They swap out easily and keep my pump running as clean as the water! Cheap replacement for a two-pack knowing my dogs fountain is clean, reliable and always pumping!

Filtro de cambio

Fácil de instalar en la fuente para mascotas, atrapa impurezas que pueden dañar el filtro como lo es el pelo de la mascota. Se recomienda cambio mensual pero con una buena limpieza dura entre 2 y 3 meses si solo lo usa una mascota

My dog was terrified of the water fountain and would not go near it. The fountain, and the UNOPENED supplies cannot be returned, putting me out a bunch of money. I will not buy from this company again.

Mal olor y mal sabor

Terrible producto, se utiliza para consumo de agua y tiene pésimo olor; pensé que podría quitarse y nada, llevo varios cambios de agua y el sabor del agua es igual que el del olor... Las mascotas tienen un olfato mucho más sensible que el del humano, si yo lo percibo, cómo creen que lo siente un perro o un gato... Si quieren que sus mascotas utilicen el bebedero, no compren esto, porque contamina el agua y la mascota menos se acercará...

Importante para los mantenimientos de los bebederos.

En casa hay 2 gatos y 2 bebederos de la marca pet safe uno de ellos ocupa estos filtros , el mismo duro como 8 meses antes de romperse , cabe aclarar que cada semana se desarma el bebedero para su limpieza y eso pudo contribuir a que se desgaste más rápido. Su precio está muy bien para lo que es y creo que es importante para evitar que partículas grandes puedan encontrar su camino hacia la bomba.
