Ok but....

East to install. Arrived when stated by one of the push in connectors was broken and out of the filter assembly. Had to go to hardware store and buy one because I already had the lines cut.

annoyed with the tiny plastic tube and the fact that you had to use the plastic tube as there are no threads on this if you want to use common plumbing fittings its quick connect tiny plastic only old habits die hard I prefer copper and brass parts to cheap flimsy plastic. Its amiricle it doesn't leak if it doesn't leak over time I suppose I could give it three stars seems a shame everything just keeps getting offered with infeior parts. The price just keeps going up while the quality keeps going down.

This is a great unit. It filters way down to .5 microns which is better than most other filter units.

Good Tasting Water, But Disappointed in the Connection Method

Just installed this filter today. Got rid of my old U600 Omni filter which used two cartridges. I installed a whole house filter years ago, so really didn't need that second cartridge in the U600. This filter housing holds the CB3 which is what I need. The only complaints I have is the unit should of been sold as a stand alone unit without the cheap faucet that comes with it. Could of lowered the price a little. I threw that junk faucet right in garbage right away. Second I do not like the quick-connect type of connection of the supply lines. I would rather have the screw in type connections made of brass and other hardware. When I first installed the supply line in the quick-connect connection I had a leak. You can just imagine the expletives. Anyway, it was bear disconnecting the plastic tubing from the the connector, but I finally figured out how to do it. Did not do much, but just re-inserted the plastic tubing in the connection and made sure it was firmly seated. No leak this time. Not sure how long this will last without leaking. I would rather have brass connectors to connect the supply lines to this unit. Nevertheless, when all finished all is working well and the water is delicious. I always use the CB3 filter cartridge when filtering water, it is the best.
