Battery operated aquarium air pump
I tested this in the 5-gallon bucket I will be using to transport my fish over a 2.5 hour drive. It is NOISY so I would not call it "Silent" by any means, but not a deal breaker. It appears to do the job needed, although I have not had an opportunity to test its battery life.

Cheaply made and very loud but works for emergencies
Cheap and kind of flimsy, won't hold up for long but works for when the power goes out and you need them

After 2 weeks, it stopped working
Though this is powerful, its very loud, not only that but after two days the batteries go dead. So I have to replace them every few days. I brought this about 2-3 weeks ago 12/8/21. I thought this would be a great asset for my tank. I have a betta half moon and 3 neon tetras. However around 12/17/21 is when I noticed the pumped stopped working, Even with brand new batteries. Sadly it doesn't work anymore kinda depressed. Thankfully my fish are troopers and hanging on. Still it kinda sucks that after 2 weeks this pumped doesn't want to work anymore????????????????

It's the little bubbler than could....
I picked up a few of these as hurricane protection. I have not had a need to use them but wondered if they would really help when the time came or just chew through batteries. I have a sick Oscellaris clown that I had to put in QT. Like most reefers, I did not have a QT set up, so I had to improvise with a bucket, some clean salt water and a bubbler to promote gas exchange. It took me three days to set up a makeshift hospital tank. Three days running this little bubbler about 18 hours a day. I shut it off a few hours a day to let the fish sleep in peace and quiet. It works great, lasts a LONG time but it is a little loud. Fair trade off if it saves my tank in an emergency.

I received new old stock from 2014 with hardened cracked diaphragm.
The diaphragm on these pump don’t last many years so I would say maybe 5-6years at most. I got a pump made in 2014 (saids so on packaging) with a bad diaphragm and it pushes no air since it’s cracked. Pretty disappointed since I got another power outage in my area the same night I received the pump and relied on it to perform. Luckily outage wasn’t long, but I had no pump to use. Make sure u buy a battery air pump made recently and if possible get one that runs on AA instead of stupid D cells.

for Emergency air and fish transporting a great value
My only issue is these are very very noisy, but for an emergency power outage or fish transport I would not care about that at all, saving the fish is the goal. I received these 3 days before the original estimate and even on a Sunday, very much impressed.

Very noisy
The media could not be loaded. I was quite disappointed with this. It's working yes, but it is very very noisy. But on the package, it's written "Silent-air". Is it a joke?

Doesn't draw power when batteries are in
It very loud, but created enough bubbles to keep my fish alive for a 2 day road trip. When we plugged it in, and the batteries were in, it didn't operate.

Great temporary measure during power outage!
It works great to keep the water moving temporarily when our regular pump is not used, but I wouldn't call it silent. We found it pretty noisy (have only used it once so far).

Just what I needed
Exactly as advertised. I plan on purchasing 2 more soon. Arrived on tume and appears of good quality.
