Unpleasantly thick and paste like texture - what’s happened to this product?

I used to buy this from the drugstore regularly - my favorite conditioner- but seems to have disappeared from shelves and online inventories at CVS & Walgreen. Texture was always heavier than for most conditioners, but very smooth/creamy, with great moisturizing and scent; the scent is still nice, but the texture was awful- stiff, with small, almost insoluble lumps when applied. Perhaps it’s related to a problem specific to the order I received, but would not buy again if this is this is the new standard.

The conditioner was not what I expected. The smell was not an issue. The lack of moisture provided is what surprised me. The company’s conditioners especially are hydrating, but this specific one designated for moisturizer let me down.

This stuff is Really good!

Try it for the first time and immediately noticed the difference in my curly hair!!! Curls are defined and hydrated. I will continue using it along with the Not your moms curls shampoo. ???? recommended.

It Works

I bought this moisturizing conditioner to go with the PM Awapuhi Shampoo. The tube is only 6.8 fl oz. I have extremely long hair and have to use a sufficient amount to work into my hair. It rinsed out well, and smells good. It made my hair easier to comb out. However, I will be searching for something else when this tube is gone, not impressed.

Best Paul Mitchell Conditioner!

This is always gone at Ulta! I love it! My hair is very long, and I only need a little bit. It has a clean, mild scent which I love. I don’t want to smell like a rose garden or a pina colada. It is a great value for the price if you know you don’t need half a bottle in your hand. I live on a budget, but store brands will strip your hair.

I really love PM styling products, but I cannot find a shampoo or conditioner that provide enough moisture for my colored/slightly dry hair. I like the scent.. very faint and neutral. But I had to follow this up with a different conditioner in order to be able to comb thru my hair. ????‍????????????‍♀️

Meine Haare werden glatt und leicht kämmbar ohne sich im trockenen Zustand schwer anzufühlen. Die Spülung riecht sehr frisch und meine Haare sehen gesünder und gepflegter aus. Ich habe es mit Schampoo Twoo kombiniert. Meine Haare bleiben lange frisch und ich habe keine fettige juckende Kopfhaut mehr. Meine Haare sind blond gefärbt und fühlen sich sehr sehr schön an. Ich habe mir große Flaschen nach gekauft. Ich kann es weiter empfehlen.
