Great choice for a starting couple.

If I say that this 19qt air fryer is the best you can get for your money, I may be lying. However, at $139.99 is not really an expensive one. What I do love the most about this one is the beautiful design and its compact size. We have come a long way with this kind of air fryers that eliminates the use of fats to fry. Definitely an excellent choice for smaller counters!

powerful tiny oven

This air fryer/toaster oven works really well. There are not a lot of instructions on how to switch between the different settings, but it does a fantastic job of heating up and cooking all kinds of foods. It comes with a magnetic temp and time chart for many different foods. We have found this to be more accurate than the food packaging instructions to use with this machine. So far I have cooked a variety of frozen foods, baked potatoes, and air fried a whole chicken. I have not quite figured out all of the settings (due to the limited instructions) but everything we have cooked so far has ended up being wonderful. I recommend cleaning the drip tray after every item or else the grease gets rebaked onto the tray with the next run of food and makes it very difficult to get clean. We have used the air fry function continuously for several hours during a family dinner party and the machine functioned great. Never faltered in cooking capability or overheated. The unit does get very hot but has caution signs to remind you not to set anything on top of it or close to the sides. It needs space. A big detractor for me is that unless unplugged it never seems to fully turn off. It will still cycle and make noise even when no settings have been pushed and the display is blank. Remember to unplug it when you are done for sure. Over all it is a nice machine. A little pricey but functions great. It also is a bit difficult to learn how to use some of the more advanced cooking functions.

Good with a few minor complaints

I've wanted one of these for a while and was pretty excited to test this out. The fit and finish quality are great. From a size standpoint it's much larger on the inside than it looks from the outside and the design is well thought out and easy to clean. It includes a basket, oven rack and pan and the knob is used to select what you want to cook. I've tested it out now for toasting and roasting, and my daughter has made about 100 chicken nuggets in it so far. Overall it works really well. My only two complaints are: 1) the beeping - it beeps constantly and loudly. When you open the door, when you close the door, every turn of the knob, every push of the button... beep beep beep. It's loud enough that I tend not to use it at night for fear it may wake someone up. There may be a way to turn this off, but this leads me to my second issue. 2) Lack of directions. It comes with three different racks but doesn't tell you what to use when. It says it can be used as a toaster, air fryer and convection oven, but doesn't tell you how to differentiate between them. One could assume that it will do it for you by selecting the knob, but shouldn't the racks go in different places when using the different settings? For air frying, do I put oil in, how much, etc... it's all these more useful details that are completely missing. They do include a nice magnetic temp chart, but the presets have all of this in there so you really don't need it. Overall, I think it's a great little oven and I've been using the heck out of it, I just wish it had a little better directions about how to use the different features correctly. Definitely recommend though!

It works

First of all this air fryer oven is super slow. Takes a exile yo heat up and cook the food. I have another air fryer and that one cooks in half the time of this one. But it does cook the food and it comes out nice. The directions were clear and easy to use.

Still learning how to use this oven.

It's just confusing to me. I wish it were simpler to use. I can hardly ever get it on the setting that I want it on. The numbers flash, but won't change to where I need them. I didn't get very clear instruction either. I ran out of patience with this.

Takes a while to heat

Takes a while to heat up but does work effectively, large enough to cook medium size items definitely depending on the level of the rack selection. Very large so requires open counter space.

Very nice oven

I like that this item can replace 3 other kitchen items and save counter space. The oven works very well. Cooks and toasted great. The only thing I don't like is once you turn on the oven it is hard to turn off, unless you finish the cook time. But other than that, this works great.

Modest Sized Air Fryer that Cooks Fast and Even

This air fryer oven from Paris Rhône replaces a very old and small toaster oven we have. We also have a larger 26QT (or 24.6L) that we use for larger quantities or if we need something bigger. This 18L air fryer oven has a simple and modern design. It is lightweight and easy to move around. The controls and display are similar to our other air fryer so it was intuitive to use. The buttons and single knob are mostly self-explanatory. There is a child lock if you need it. The oven comes with 3 trays (a sheet pan, wire rack and air fryer basket) and a crumb tray. We have mainly used the air fryer function thus far. It cooks food fast and even. Much faster than our old toaster oven. Food tastes great and comes out non-greasy and not oily. With fries, we put more than one layer and the whole batch comes out nice. Wings comes out crispy and is cooked just right. We followed the cooking times from the included magnetic cheat sheet and they were right on. Besides, the air fryer, there are a host of other functions. Not counting preheat, there are 14 others. The cake function worked quite well and a cake came out moist and fluffy. The buttons and the knob, which are plastic do get quite warm in use. Also, when in use, the display shows it is cooking but it is a repeating pattern that really doesn’t convey anything else and is somewhat annoying. I do like that the time changes from minutes to seconds in the final minute as it counts down to zero/completion. Overall, this is a decent air fryer oven that cooks fast and even, and is a good option if you are looking for something of a modest size. For bigger families, a larger size may be a better option.

Good size for family, lots of options

The media could not be loaded. Out of all the styles of air fryer, the air fryer oven with racks is my favourite type. It seems to make air fried foods crispier than the basket style as the air can easily circulate around all sides of the food. I have used other oven style air fryers before and this one is larger than those. It also gets hotter at up to 450F (most air fryers top out at 400F). What I like: - Many functions in addition to air frying. Can also be used as an oven, broiler, toaster, etc. - Larger than normal tray/rack size (for this type of air fryer) - Comes with air fryer mesh tray, an oven rack, and a baking sheet. All 3 can be stored inside at once. - Heating elements on top and bottom, very even heating especially with the fan circulating air - Very bright internal light. Easy to see everything - Quiet operation. Quietest air fryer I've used - Goes up to 450F - The magnet cheat sheet is a great addition What could be improved: - The drip/crumb tray on the bottom has be tilted to remove, so it's possible that crumbs can fall off as you remove it from the fryer. If you remove slowly and carefully you should be ok. - The exterior gets extremely hot, even the front of the fryer, so it seems like it could've used better insulation there. For example the control buttons get quite hot. Not burn your hand hot, but uncomfortably hot. - The viewing window is not dual pane so it radiates a lot of heat and lacks insulation - It would've been nice to get a second air fryer mesh rack to be able to air fry more food at once (I will be looking for appropriate sized ones on amazon to buy) Overall it does a great job and can double as a small oven in addition to being an air fryer (you can turn the fan off if you want). Note that the hot air exhausts from the rear-top of the unit and is very very hot, so you will want to make sure there's at least 8-10 inches or so or so of clearance above it (if you were thinking of tucking it under something). The food comes out super crispy without burning, which is what I love most about air fryers. A favourite of mine is the breaded cauliflower bites and they come out excellent in this thing. I would highly recommend this if you're looking for a larger size air fryer.

Fantastic air fryer!

I am a fan of Paris Rhone products, they always make top quality products and I have really come to enjoy this brand. This air fryer is no exception, its a great quality product. The air fryer is very well made, top quality. Digital screen with adjustable time, adjustable heat and so many different options. So as you can see from the listing and my photos this is an oven style air fryer. The front door opens by swinging down and you can put the drip tray, tray and wire rack inside in which ever position you need to use. I have used this several times since it arrived and I like that I can put several layers of food in the air fryer the same time and cook everything in one time frame depending on the food item and amount of time it needs to cook of course. I also like that since it has layers I can cook more food in one time frame which is absolutely great for larger families. It has plenty of cooking space and it cooks everything incredibly well. I have used it for frozen foods like chicken nuggets and fries but I have also used it for chicken and fish, it work so well. It also came with a magnet that shows the cooking times for plenty of different foods, super convenient and it has already been put on my fridge for easy access, I can check cooking time at a glance. Really love this air fryer, its been on my counter since I first used it for easy access.

Super Size Air Fryer / Convection Oven

This oven fits on my counter with dimensions 15.1 x 13.7 x 14 inches. I was grabbed by the nonstick, easy cleanup after use! I used my mum’s and it was a dirty job to clean! This oven is so much fun to cook a meal with simplicity in the dials and bright LCD screen. It has 15 cooking modes and pre-set settings. We made one 10 inch pizza as it has a 19 quart cooking capacity which is very large! Easily held a small 4 pound chicken and cooked thoroughly. My homemade fries come out crispy and delicious! Toast and bagels in the morning cook super fast and exactly as I like them! I tried gramma’s shortbread cookies which can be finicky and they also were perfect! Chicken wings were super fast at 20 mins and came out so crispy and but tender. I always preheat to ensure accurate cooking temperature and time. Loving this high capacity, multifunctional air fryer that will save time! It can air fry, preheat, bake, ferment, roast, dehydrate, toast, keep warm, and slow cook. The three-layer toaster oven comfortably fits a large quantity of food that makes meals fast and easy to get ready. This also has a timer which shuts off after 8 minutes! Compared to conventional ovens or toaster ovens, this air fryer preheats and cooks food in a fraction of the time. Other air fryer ovens have a much smaller capacity in comparison and take forever to cook enough for a family of four. This oven is well designed and works the same way as a convection oven. The lock/shake button is great for homes with small children - just press and hold for 3 seconds to turn on child lock. The included manual is easy to follow and very informative.

Great Multi-Functional Air Fryer

This air fryer is a great purchase whether you're getting it just to use it yourself or you are getting it to feed your family. It's large enough that a good amount of food can be cooked in it at once and, so far, the food has always come out cooked properly and evenly. There are numerous different settings and options you can tinker with depending on what you're cooking, so there's always going to be something to select to ensure that you're cooking your food to perfection. I find this is the absolute best way to make some nice and crispy french fries, hashbrowns, or even some perfectly done pizza. Perhaps my favourite feature of this air fryer, though, is the child lock. This gives a great peace of mind. This is a phenomenal air fryer from a great brand. Highly recommended!
