Power cap

Had one given as a gift......lost it. Bought this to replace the one I lost. Works great, charge lasts over a week long with intermittent use. Cap is warm .....would have preferred a Polartec Sherpa Fleece with a Goretex Windstopper/waterproof breathable liner....but I like it works for me..YMMV Delivery was perfect please tell the driver,

The light: Honestly I believe this is one of the best hat lights out there right now. Super light weight and slim with a wicked brightness for the size. About 2x2in square. This will no joke light up an entire room with a broad flood of light. And the three brightness setting is very nice for different light and time needs. And a battery run of 3-4 hours at max brightness isn’t bad either. The hat: the hat is why I give a 3 stars. I don’t think the hats are very well made. They added a lining that makes the hat sit funny and ride off my head. Due to this I actually cut the lining out so it’s more like my original panther vision hat that had no lining. The stitching at the top also leaves much to be desired as it makes the hat sit strangely and uncomfortably. I would give the light 5 stars and the hat 1. I would really love to see panther vision improve the quality of their hats because I do really like an integrated light better that a clip on. Until then I would recommend just buying the clip on lights they make and put that on your favorite hat. But if you buy this hat like I did cutting out the lining will improve the comfort and fit of this hat.

Nice work light

Has a full 180 degree flood, easy to find switch. Bright enough, makes a good work light, but no real distance on it, so not much use for hiking or nav for me. Light flashes when it's charging, makes it annoying as heck.

Great hands free light

This is the nicest product of its type I’ve pitched. I had the older styles that used button batteries and AAAs, but the rechargeable feature is great. It can be difficult to remove the light pod at first, but it isn’t too bad once you figure it out. It’s very bright and lights up where I can see and not much else, very little light pollution. I just received mine and won’t be using it long enough to drain the battery for the most part, but hopefully it lasts a while. I plan on only using the low setting. The biggest downfall is the list price - $30. Way too much. I like the design of this light pod style beanie hat light, but I could never justify spending that much for a single hat. I do plan on picking more of these up while they’re on sale.

Super bright!

Only thing I didn’t love was how difficult it is to get the light out of the hat to charge it. But it keeps it from falling out and getting lost so I guess it’s necessary. Other than that, this hat is great. Super bright and warm!

This hat is perfect

I paid 22 bucks for this. I have a big head (59cm) and sensitive skin. It fits perfectly and feels gentle on my skin. Not too tight or loose or scratchy. The light is bright, and I appreciate that you can triple tap quickly to turn it off. Lots of lights require waiting a tiny bit between clicks which can be irritating. I would buy this again in a heartbeat, and I will. I only wish it came in more colors. Seriously if your head is around 59cm around the brim, but this hat.

Warm, bright light, suitable for cool weather!

Bought these for hunting- the guys love these and the helpful lights. Charging them is s bit weird… difficult to figure out what to remove and where do you Dan plug in charge cable! But great light when you figure out how ti charge! My apologies for typos/ can’t stand this Amazon app that discriminates against us folks over 40 who can’t see…. And they don’t have functionality for us to enlarge screen or letters!
