How to install in a Snap and Grow
TIP: If you have difficulty seeing the pictures I posted, depending on your browser you may be able to expand the photo by hovering your mouse over them, and (at least in Chrome) further expanding it by right-clicking and selecting "open image in new tab." I would give this two stars based on my personal experience - but that would not be fair, because I deliberately used it for something it was never intended to be used for. Specifically, I have a Snap and Grow (S&G) - the one Palram greenhouse that is NOT listed as compatible with this window. I also was not going to pay full price for something that I really did not know would be able to be made to work, in spite of another reviewer here who claimed it could be modified to fit (but never said how). So I bought a refurbished unit, which may or may not have been the cause of some of my general complaints (you may have seen my question about the louvres fully closing posted in the Q&A section). The ideal place for a louvre window is down low - your vent lets the hottest air out, and the window lets the coolest air in. But that's just not possible in a S&G, because if you tried to mount it all the way down against the bottom frame then there would be nothing to seal the gap between the window and the frame. In the attached picture, you'll see that I mounted mine immediately under the crossbeam in the back. If I had installed the window >WHILE

Works for Palram Snap & Grow (when installing during greenhouse construction)
I read the reviews for the Palram Side Louvre Window after I purchased and received the product. I was most concerned after noticing that the window is not supposed to fit the Palram Snap and Grow greenhouse. Of course, I immediately thought about returning it before I opened the packaging. After reading the detailed review By rjeffb (April 4, 2016), I decided that I too could modify my greenhouse to install the louvre window. The benefit of having fresh air come in from the bottom of the greenhouse and exhaust out the roof was too important to leave out of the construction of my greenhouse. Yes, one difference between my installation and rjeffb is that I installed the window during construction of the Snap & Grow. I never had to remove window panels or struggle with braces or struts as I was able to place the louver in while building the greenhouse. As a result, I never had any of the problems that rjeffb experienced. In fact, I never cut the louvre panels nor made any modifications at all. Instead of installing a window panel in the middle of the back wall, I replaced it with the louvre and the small window that comes with the kit. The louvre slipped to the bottom of the greenhouse and the window fit nicely on the top. Admittedly, there was a gap between the window panel and the louvre, but I filled that gap with 7/16" foam insulation to keep the cold air out. I also purchased the Rion Automatic Louver Vent Opener which I installed at the same time. It was a bit more difficult to install as the parts didn't quite align. However, after a few adjustments to the opener, I was able to attach it to the louvre window's manual opener mechanism. It opens and closes as advertised with changes in heat/cold. So far, I haven't figured out how to adjust it completely, but I'll get there. I did notice this weekend the outside air temperature reached the mid 70's here in the Washington DC area, and the Louvre opened (not fully), letting cooler air in from the ground level.

Actually a good product!
I read most of the reviews to this product before I purchased it. In spite of some possible faults I decided that since I had a Palram Hybrid greenhouse it made more sense to get this than to try and make one myself. I originally wanted to put the louvre on top of the window piece that was included but after some attempts to install that way I went back to the instructions included with the vent. It is definitely easier to install while building the greenhouse and in all took about 15-20 minutes for the assembly. I used to own commercial greenhouses and venting is important to the health of the plants. I put the vent into the back wall for just this reason. That allows for cross ventilation from door to back wall. For those who complain that their greenhouses remain too hot, it should be pointed out that the vents only provide a way for air to move in or out of the greenhouse not to move the air around. As with much larger greenhouses there should be a small fan inside the greenhouse to move the air around and helps to send the air out of the top vent. Also a shade cloth will help to keep the interior temperatures cooler. I personally found this product at a number of different prices and found the Amazon price reasonable. The product does it's job. The only reason I gave this item a 4 star is that it didn't allow for me to put the vent above the window piece instead of below it. If I had had the twin walls instead of the polycarb I may have been able the do this.

Easy install
Flimsy, cheap design- but "must have" at greenhouse. Easy installation, I did found instruction accurate, but in my case - I do have a Mythos greenhouse and did install window at rear, no need to remove roof - simply cut plastic and insert! (Some filing was necessary to improve louvers movement.

Good quality..works well. We will see how it stands up over the coming few seasons,It was installed into a newly constructed Palram greenhouse,so can't comment on dependability yet.

Side or end louvered wndow
These work real good. They fit the building nicely and provide a good ventilation. When closed they seal very nicely.
