Nice pan set, but not without flaws

While this pan set is of decent quality, I must point out a couple of concerns that prevented me from giving it a perfect score. Although advertised as having cool handles, I noticed that they can get hot enough when used on my gas stove, which can be dangerous if touched with bare hands. Moreover, if you have a gas stove with cast iron or metal grates, the bottom of these pans may get scratched. Additionally, I found that some of these pans appeared smaller than they were in the photos, so it's important to make sure you review the sizes carefully before ordering.

Awesome cookware for the price

This cookware is great. It’s so nice to have nonstick pans that are actually nonstick. The quality seems excellent and heat distribution is very even. The lids are also excellent quality. Time will tell how well the cooking surface holds up but so far love this set for the price.

Small Frying pan completely scratched in less

We have this set for since January. Bottom of pots and small frying pan are completely scratched (no, we don't use metal on it). A bit disappointing for the price of this set... I am already considering buying a new pan

Great cookware

I decided on this set for 2 reasons. One, I'd because I trust this brand as I have made 11 purchases from OXO. And secondly, I researched frying pans on America's Test Kitchen's YouTube page and the one from this set won two different grueling tests over several other top named brands. They cook great, nonstick is amazing, and cleanup is a breeze.

Love

So easy to use to clean up and dose everything I want

Truly nonstick and easy to clean!

I bought these pots and pans 6 months ago and I have been very happy with them. The nonstick function has not diminished at all and I use these daily. They are also super easy to clean. Even when I get lazy and let them sit overnight with food crusted on, they still clean up super easily. I have only hand washed these pots and pans though, I have never put them in the dishwasher. The only downside I have seen is that the handles on the pots and the lids get hot very easily so I need to use pot holders to handle them. I do not have this problem with the pans though, as the handles are longer. I gave durability a 4/5 star rating simply because the lids are made of glass. They are surrounded by metal which strengthens them, but I don’t consider anything made of glass to be durable.

GREAT PANS; KNOW YOUR SIZE REQUIREMENTS

I love everything about these pans. I bought one pan several months ago as a test, then bought this set. They sit on my (electric) burners without sliding. The balance and weight are perfect; the handles stay cool; they heat up quickly and evenly. Arrived in perfect condition - well built and well packaged. Some reviews complain about the size, but they are exactly as stated. For my needs, I supplement this set with a larger (12") frying pan and a larger dutch oven.

Defects?

We were really stoked about this set, but our first order the small sauce pan came with a chip out of the side of the pan (picture 1). I tried to contact OXO support but because the purchase was through Amazon they couldn't do anything to help us. We had to send the whole set back and get a replacement set for one defect. ...Then round 2 came and our small saute pan is dented enough that it's not actually round (picture 2). At this point we've decided to just cut our losses and keep this set, because at least none of the non-stick coating is damaged, but it definitely sucks to have 2 rounds of shipments with defects in them. TL;DR: be prepared for individual defects in your order.

Very disappointed

Quality not good enough compared to money also pot size is small.

Not worth it

I bought these four months ago. They are already losing its colour, and the scratch very easily. I make sure to be careful and use the proper utensils and I hand wash them. Still lost its colour and lots of scratches. Also half the handle heats up with the pot so you have to be careful where you grab. Same with the lids too. The only nice thing about them are that they are easy to clean. I bought this set because of the comments were so positive. Just be careful. They are not worth the money.. I wish I could return them.. New info! I contacted the company and they were great about it and sent me new ones. They were fast to respond, understanding and sent them fast! Hopefully these ones are better ????
