Stronger than other dog toys marketed as durable.

My Corgi-Pomeranian loves to chew on soft toys that have a squeaker, but manages to tear through the outer material to the stuffing in under an hour (sometimes as quickly as ten minutes), leaving a trail of stuffing materials throughout the house. I searched for a more durable toy and decided upon the Outward Hound Xtreme Seamz Lemur (small size) after reading the reviews here, hoping the extra strong stitching and durable materials would last much longer. The Xtreme Seams Lemur came packaged well, was very cute, and appeared much sturdier than other similar priced items with claims of durability toys (such as those made by Kong). Gizmo began chewing on the lemur immediately. Within three hours, he had 1/2 of each ear and the hair on top chewed off, as well as the side seams of the feet chewed away. Although the stuffing is visible, it has not been pulled out at all. It still has a good deal of wear left in it, with the features on the lemur both front and back intact. This is a well made toy made with strong materials and extra stitching. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable toy for their dog especially if they chew through their toys rapidly. I constantly worry that once he rips a toy open, he will ingest the stuffing and maybe cause a stomach/intestinal blockage. Given the time he’s played with it, I have little concern this problem will arise. I see many hours of play left in the lemur over the weeks ahead. It’s size is great for a smaller dog to carry, throw around, & hold between their paws while they chew. I will continue to purchase the Outward Hound Extreme Seamz toys in the future.

I had higher expectations

Sadly, within the first 12-hours, I noticed a decent rip on the body of the toy - like a seam just completely fell apart. My dog hasn’t aggressively plays with it - he mainly likes to chew the rope legs and squeak the feet so I don’t think he tore it up. I had high hopes for this toy being able to take a beating, but the seams are all starting to come away from the toy. Maybe I got an old one and the fabric has aged and weakened? I don’t know. Not sure I would purchase another toy known to be tough from this brand.

Hard and heavy duty dog toy

I have a Goldendoodle just over a year old. These are the best toys we've found for her. She tears apart the Kong brand like it's nothing. These guys, however, last weeks to months with a little added care. We do have to stitch them up from time to time with braided fishing line. That usually buys another week or two or of it. The tough fabric material and hard seams are the best, most durable squeak toys we've found... And our dog loves them

Not even 24 hours

It lasted longer than the usual five minutes, but sadly did not live to see 24 hours. Woke up this morning to looking like it is snowed in the bedroom stuffing everywhere. Had high hopes.

Felt arms are quickly destroyed by small puppy

Product is super sturdy and well made besides the arms and legs. This material was shredded by my tiny Boston terrier puppy when she was 4 months old. It is great for teething because of the material it feels good on their gums

DESCRIPTION NOT TRUE

So tired of descriptions sorry but that are not accurate or true. Misleading Description, I Should Have Known. Not quite 3 weeks yet, and guess what I waited to see just how much my small dog of 13 pounds could destroy this toy even more. Within the first weeks, this pathetic dog toy, had chew marks, tears, and rips, and strings hanging, this is not what I would call a sturdy strong toy, I call this toy a wimpy cheaply made toy, not sturdy, not strong, I should have known, and knew by now not to believe descriptions from sellers on Amazon, Sorry but true. This toy is not what the Seller claims, very disappointed in this toy, the seller, and transaction. Threw away, it finally came down with being non repairable, and the insides was coming outside, not a sign of a sturdy toy, but a cheaply made toy without quality control.

Face and leg chewed off immediately

I tried to post a photo but I can’t figure out how. Our Jack Russell mix chewed off the face and one leg within the first hour. Very cute and he is still chewing on it but don’t think it’s unchewable.

Dog is obsessed and I don't know why!

My parents dog loves it! It's his favorite toy and I have no idea why. He is a heavy chewer so it doesn't last forever but is pretty sturdy

Disappointed

From its name Outward Hound Xtreme Seamz Vulture Squeaky Dog Toy - Reinforced Dense Stuffing Plush Toy I had expected it to survive longer than 10 minutes. My 18 month old pup had the beck chewed and stuffing out in under 10 minutes. Cheaper products are still in daily use. So I would not recommend this toy for a dog. My dog is not an aggressive chewer but the beck is a weak point in this toy.

Indestructible? ????????????

Lasted 5 minutes before it was ripped apart (see photo) .. won’t be buying anymore extreme seamz toys, to expensive for the quality

Lasted 10 mins with 5 month old Doberman

Supposedly ultra durable and tough seams but my 5 month old pup tore all the legs off the toy and split the seam in genuinely 10 mins. Within the first few mins one arm was tore instantly
