Good belt replacement

It's very important to understand why u are replacing any mower belt. If u have a bad bearing or bent pulley or bad idler etc, your new belt can fail quick regardless of belt brand. Ensure u know why the belt u are replacing failed first. The Oregon brand belt is a top quality belt and will last a long time. All belts will stretch over time and fail. This belt, for me has lasted as long as the original equipment when the mower was in good repair. Just ensure everything is aligned, not loose and is working correctly before installing any new belt. This belt will save you some bucks.

Does not fit the L100. Do NOT buy for the L100 transmission drive belt.

This belt does NOT fit the John Deere L100. Product description is false. After spending all afternoon replacing my stretched belt with this one I was rewarded with a lurching 5th gear and the mower comes to a stop during turns. This is due to the belt slipping. The installation took extra long because I tried to find a way to achieve more belt tension but this belt is nearly exactly as long as the one I removed which is 10 years old, stretched and won't propel the mower anymore. The description is WRONG. Do not buy this or the L100.

Oregon 75-806 drive belt for John Deere La 105

Yeah this drive belt worked out great for my La 105 John Deere riding mower. Thought my transaxle was going out on me just replaced the drive belt now it takes off as soon as i let go of the clutch pedal
