I have only had this cushion for a day but similar to many others, I had some trouble trying to inflate the cushion using the pump that was included. Below I attached a photo of how I successfully inflated the cushion. 1. the most important part is pushing just the needle in first. you are unable to push the entire length of the needle in unless you press down on the top of the cushion (near the puncture hole) which makes the cushion wider. 2. while the cushion is wider near the hole, use a bit of force with a rotating motion to push the needle's entire length into the cushion. be careful not to use too much force and puncture the needle through the other side of the cushion. 3. once the needle is all the way in, attach the pump onto the needle by screwing it in. when the needle is all the way in the cushion it allows for the pump to fully screw onto the needle head. 4. once the pump is attached you may pump it to your desired inflation level. After figuring this out, I have not had any difficulties getting the needle all the way in again. It seems that it is necessary to force it all the way through only once and then it is able to do so from then on. I only took one star off because this was rather frustrating at first but I am very excited to use this cushion. Since I took it out of the box I have used it non-stop (minus the time spent trying to figure out how to inflate it properly). I even used it in while driving an hour commute and I felt my posture was being somewhat forced to be upright (which is what I was hoping for). However, I will note that the side with the higher and larger nubs will leave some rowdy and slightly painful impressions on the back of your thighs. So just take caution there, especially if you're wearing shorts and using this before going out in public - you'll turn many heads but it may not be because of your improved posture.

Used as a fidget chair
Was concerned with my son during shut in school. The chair kinda helped with his fidgeting (ok, jumping out of his chair every 3 seconds and getting distracted in the beginning), but after a while it just became a toy for my 7 and 3 year old boys. Well after a while longer it became a frisbee (still inflated) and I haven't seen it since. It did help for about a month or so and, I don't know if my son just grew out of fidgeting or if the chair helped him, but now he can stay in his seat for 20 minutes at a time. As far as the seat itself goes, it came partially inflated and with an air pump. The chair has a semi pokey (grippy) side that you sit on and a more pokey side that is the side that faces the chair seat. It came with exercises you can use the cushion for, but they seemed a bit awkward for the kids to do. We got the black seat. I think it is a hit or miss as far as a fidget chair goes. Its kinda painful to sit in it the longer you are in it or the more pressure you put on it. I think its better not inflated all the way for kids booty comfort. They will either love it or hate it because its uncomfortable or wiggly or whatever else they can complain about. Good luck parents!

Helps kids that cant stay in a seat, stay in a seat
I am an administrator in an elementary school setting. We are always looking for new ideas to help kids that have problems sitting still in the classroom. Some kids simply can't sit in a seat for long periods of time and have to be able to move. It is so much easier to allow kids a form of movement in their chairs versus providing punishment for, "refuses to remain seated." These cushions are very effective for my school and many of our students. Yes, all of the students will want to try them out at one point or another, but honestly students that do not have issues with staying seated, lose interest very fast. On the other side, students that need to move never tire of these cushions. These cushions are made of a very thick rubbery material. They are not going to burst very easily and they do not take much inflation to get to proper fill. On one side of the cushion there are small nubs about a mm in length. On the other side, there are longer nubs that resemble the industrial rubber floor mats that you wipe your feet on. It was very nice that they included a hand pump and a needle with each cushion. I did not receive any type of discount, compensation, or products for writing this honest review. I think this product performs very well and want to pass the information along to others. Hopefully, other people will discover an effective way to help some students that truly need products like this to make it through a long seated day at school. Great fun
Tried inflating it but I'm not sure if I did it properly. Seems pretty flat to me but I can't get it to take in more air. I have it four stars coz I like it still despite its flatness. My baby plays with it too. ❤️ I liked that they provided a set of basic exercises to do. Still haven't found the time to do it but I have put it aside I. The hopes of finally getting to it one of these days. I think it's good value. Would be great if it was on for about £10 but as it is, I think it's still reasonably priced.

Plastic too ridged
Having been shown a wobbly cushion when recently at hospital physio, I was advised to.purchase one. The Binvita was too ridged with little flexibility and therefore returned. I then did some research and found Sissel was recommended, it was a little more expensive but the difference was worth it.
