My newborn loved this!

Man, it’s great when you can find something your baby likes so that you can put them down for a few minutes and do something for yourself. My son absolutely loved this until he was about 3 months old then he was over it lol My only complaint is the toy bar constantly falls off and I was afraid it would land on him so I just stopped trying to put it back on. We bought two of these so he could have one at his Nanas house and that bar too just completely broke and never stayed on.

3 kids later - still the best baby product ever!

We got this as a gift 5 years ago with our first. He used it so much that it broke when our second was about 6 months. I tried a different product with our third (because I hated changing the batteries constantly in the SmartBounce) but baby didn’t really like it. I’ve actually tried four other brands over the years that my kids have either hated or sort of tolerated if i got them 110% passed out asleep and transferred them in. My back was been killing me so I just bought the SmartBounce again hoping for a bit of relief and yup, still just as amazing as it was five years ago. It really is a miracle product for fussy babies. The cushion is plush and cozy and surrounds them like a hug. The bounce is soft and soothing mimicking the gentle motion of being held. The toys are soft and muted colors so they aren’t too stimulating and easy for baby to “zone out” watching the movement as they doze off. The only con is the batteries. They run out fast and are a pain to change. I strongly prefer products with an AC adapter so that’s the only thing I’d change. This may be my new go-to registry gift for any new parent.

My baby is so comfy and enjoys his time on his bouncer. Perfect that the fuzzy liner is removable because it can cause baby to overheat

Not Impressed

We bought this because we had a similar one a few years ago. For some reason this one doesn’t bounce hardly at all. You can barely notice it moving. It also has a very low reclining position and our 5 month old grandson doesn’t like being in it for long. He looks uncomfortable. Sometimes I will prop a Nugget (couch) triangle under the back to lift it up. It doesn’t bounce anyway so the Nugget triangle doesn’t matter. Our old seat bounced much better than this and comforted the babies. I will say that it is better quality than the Elmo seat or other cheaper seats but we were disappointed with this and wish we would’ve purchased something else. Something with better support for the baby that would keep him in a safer, and higher position as some of the more expensive seats do. We wish we would’ve invested in something of better quality.

It’s ok

I like it but the only thing I don’t like about it is that it bounce so slow even when is at the max speed I have to bounce it with my feet if I want it to go faster when I’m free is ok to bounce it with my feet but when I want the baby to fall sleep or if I want to do chores or take a shower my baby won’t like it cause it barely bounce, it look good and the music is good I want to love it but my baby just doesn’t like it he prefers a small swing that someone give me I probably going to buy a bigger swing

Ok but easy to trip over

Good but the metal base, legs I guess you could call them, stick out a lot in all directions so I and the family have tripped over it a lot which is obviously very dangerous if your baby is in it. Maybe we’re just extra clumsy, but I would prefer one a bit more narrow.

Schön, aber nicht sinnvoll

Wir haben diese noch in der Schwangerschaft bestellt. Erst kam sie an und das Kopfkissen fehlte. Schon Mal sehr ärgerlich so hochschwanger nochmal zur Post zu müssen. Die 2. Wippe kam also vollständig an, sieht ganz niedlich aus, für ein neugeborenes allerdings zu groß. Mein kleiner hing da wie ein Schluck Wasser in der Kurve. Jetzt mit 7 Wochen schon was besser. Allerdings fällt der Spielbogen immer runter und warum die Kuscheltiere die gesicher haben und nicht zum Baby zeigen, weiß ich auch nicht. Schließlich soll dass ja vom Baby bestaunt werden. Auch wenn es das noch nicht so gut kann, wäre für mich einfach nur von Sinn her logischer gewesen. Es gibt 2 verschiedene Lieder und ein Grillen Geräusch. Diw Lieder sind wie wir finden viele zu laut , selbst bei der leisesten Einstellung. Das Gerüst wo die wippe drauf steht ist auch viel zu wackelig. Unser kleiner findet die wippe die schwingt auch viel besser als diese. Für den Preis auch viel zu teuer. Ich spreche daher keine Kaufempfehlung aus.

Great as a seat but it doesn’t really bounce

Pretty good if you want just a seat, it was easy to put together and the seat is sturdy. I have been using this for 10 months and have washed it numerous times and it still looks brand new. It plays music and white noise and has 2 bouncing modes. It also has an insert for newborn that can be removed once your child is bigger. The things I didn’t like were it shuts off after 20 minutes, so if you want it on longer you have to turn it on again. The second thing is the Mobile, its not very sturdy it always falls off and I don’t like that the animals face outward so you baby can only see the back of them. Yes I know what your thinking “just turn the mobile around” but you can’t, it only fits on one way! The third thing is the bouncer is really weak, you can hardly feel it bouncing.
