Good product but only one mounting bracket

As noted by some other reviewers, the box looks a little cheap. I am certain it will work OK but mine came with only one bracket not the two in the Specifications. Hopefully one is enough to hold it.

Compact AAV Box and cover grill

This was the smallest AAV box I could find, there just aren't a lot of choices out there - it's really made for new construction work so the mounting options for my retrofit project are rather complex (the box is inserted into the hole first then the mounting brackets added by sliding the box left then right) and the design/instructions (none included) do not seem to cater for retrofitting a box into an existing wall at all - yet there are most likely millions of situations where home owners need to add an AAV to an existing wall to bring their DWV plumbing up to code. It's a fairly flimsy molded box, mounting brackets and vented cover.......... for a professional looking installation, the cover will need to be painted as the natural off white cheap plastic color just looks nasty. The PVC vent pipe does not connect directly to this box but passes through the hole so you can add the threaded adapter - The Oatey AAV I bought came with the adapter, other AAVs may not fit in this box. I'll update this review and add more photos as the project progresses.

Perfect fit for my island vent in my kitchen. Definitely needed for accessibility purposes in case the AAV ever fails

Perfect for my utility sink installation

Perfect for my utility sink installation. Easy to install, fits good in the tight space I had to work with. Plenty of room inside to replace the AAV when required. I would recommend this to a friend.
