Way too long to be for a truly petite woman

These are a little too roomy in lower hip and are certainly much too long to be considered petite. I’d say if you 5.7 these would be fine for you.

FABULOUS...perfect length. A bit shorter than other jeans.

While expensive, these jeans are amazing. They fit really, really, really well. I wear a 14 (American Eagle, Target, Land's End, brands carried by Nordstrom) and ordered a 14. These went on perfectly, not sucking in, no laying on the bed to zip up. Many say NYDJ bag out and these do not, not even close. They fit right at my belly button and bag slightly in the back but everything that matters is still covered up. The back and front pockets are normal size, not the tiny ones in front that normally come with slimming jeans. I can fit by huge wad of keys in the front pockets. Seems like most petite jeans are longer than they used to be and are all about 2" too long for me even with shoes, but I like sandals too. I am nearly 5'5" but have a long torso and shorter legs. Normally, I can only wear skinny jeans and better jeggings. These are truly the perfect length. I can wear them with sandals and with sneakers and hiking shoes without them being too short. If you can wear a straight leg or regular bootcut in a short length, these will likely be too short for you.

Fit is good

The fit is good but the smell in the pants is strong. I washed the jeans twice but the smell is still there.

I am typically a size 8, but went with the measurements and reviews and purchased a 6. They fit perfectly!

Not Enough "Boot"

Previous incarnations of this product had more of a boot leg than this model. It is much closer to a skinny or straight jean than I wanted. I tried both size 6 and 8 petite. The 8 was too tight. If the jeans were $50 I might have kept them, even though they were a bit too short for my taste. But the hefty price made me send them back. It's too much money for a pair of jeans I didn't really like. Truth be told, NYDJ does not make the boot cut jean that I bought a few years ago. I am hoping that model will return.

Stretched out

When I tried them on at first, they fit me perfectly but I wore them a couple more times over the weekend and they stretched OUT! Too baggy in the hips and thighs now.

Snug or not so? Comfortable

The manufacturer recommends buying a size smaller. I’m a size 6 but purchased a size 4. Although the 4 fit with bending, crouching and general movement, I returned them for my regular size. I’m supposing the recommendation is for a more snug fit and that the waist doesn’t creep down over hips. I’ve been wearing a belt with my size 6 because they do creep down a tiny bit. This is a stretch material, are very comfortable and can be dressed up or down. After washing them multiple times, the color has not faded and actually can rub off on fingers and nails.

Les jeans NYDJ s'ajustent parfaitement aux femmes qui ont des courbes. Respecter l'étiquette de lavage. Le tissu est de qualité supérieure. N'achetez pas une taille plus petite. Je mesure 1m57 et mon poids est de 138 livres; je prends la taille Petite 12 ans. J'achète cette marque depuis 25 ans. Attention aux contrefaçons!

These jeans fit great but after a few washes they look stretched out at the bottom of the leg and the top of the waistband seam is falling apart
