Love the leg length and comfort but not The durability
I love these jeggings for the length of the leg. The break falls with a flattering fold just past the ankle so you can wear these with either sneakers or pant boots. My reason for 4 stars is two-fold: durability in color and in the ware/tear. The first two pairs I purchased ( one indigo denim and the other black) faded after just a couple of cold water washings. I didn’t mind since this -as is with all denim- also softened them. After about 9 months, the indigo pair ripped lengthwise along the inner thigh seam line, so due to this it was a couple of years before I tried other pairs. These new pairs also faded and lost elasticity…but the latest black pair has lasted about 5 months with neither problem. I find them very comfortable, and flattering, but am suspicious about how long they will last. Will post again as follow up.

Very straight leg just not my style
I received this from Amazon fit and wasn’t really happy with the jeans. They were two straight leg for my style. I feel like they’re overpriced.

Item does not match photo, was washed and has dog hair
The jeans are nice and fit well. But the dark enzyme does not match the item photo (there is stitching detail on the front and pockets). Also, the item had been washed (tags were cut off and it smelled strongly of scented detergent) and was covered in dog hair. Not worth paying nearly full price for a used item.

NOT SURE THESE ARE REALLY NYDJ
I own many many pairs of NYDJ purchased from Dillard's. This is my first Amazon pair. The tags do not look the same, and I have other jeans in this color, but this pair left blue all over me. I washed them in cold water twice to get rid of the dye and hung them to dry - just like I do with all of my jeans - and they shrunk! Too late to return, but I may try to contact Amazon because I don't believe these are true NYDJ. Starting to really question EVERYTHING I buy from Amazon now.

Nothing showing in the back!
I have 2 other pairs of NYDJ. Although the brand says that their sizing is consistent, I've noticed that I wear either an 8 or 10 - and it's not consistent. I have to order two sizes to see for that specific style when ordering a new style of NYDJ. I typically wear a 10 or 12, so I tend to order down a size. I am about 145 lbs and 5' 7". I ordered the Sheri Skinny Jean and the Alina Legging at the same time. I just couldn't fit in the Sheri (maybe I did need a 12 on this style?), but loved the size 8 Alina. Quality probably not as high as I would expect in the zipper area for jeans over $100, but the fact that they stay up and don't show the back end when getting up and down a lot with my 3 year old during the day is worth it. I've reached the point where I'd rather do more laundry and have pants that stay up and fit than continue to buy multiple pairs of jeans and none really fit that well...

I've bought these in other colors, but these Alina had a little different pocket detail. Since I lost some weight and needed a couple sizes smaller, I ordered these and hoped I guessed correctly. They fit as expected/hoped I learned that with NYDJ, in order to get the "tummy tuck" effect, you need to buy them a lot smaller than you'd expect, AND be willing to 'squeeze a little' when zipping them up. If you don't, they won't hold in your tummy and the stretch of the fabric won't work as designed. The first pair of NYDJ, I tried on in the store. I kept trying smaller and smaller sizes on and settled on the smallest size that would still zip without causing a muffin top (because they loosen up after a while and no longer feel too tight, but they still do a nice job of holding in your stomach. As I lost weight, I found they appeared to fit in the buttock and legs properly, but there was no holding in the tummy, in fact, it almost made my stomach look bigger than other jeans. Thus-the need to buy them tight.

Not as good as "old" NYDJ
I hadn't purchased any "Not Your Daughters Jeans" for a few years. They are now using that popular stretchy material that fits great at the beginning of the day and then is too big a few hours later. I would love these if they were the old canvas material. In spite of that am still enjoying these jeans. If you are between two sizes, I would suggest ordering down a size.

Nowhere in the description does it say the sizing is US sizes! Found one question mentioning it once they had arrived and were huge!!
