Firm and elegant

This was worth the extra bucks. The style is subtle but striking, and the feel imparts a sense of quality and sturdiness (it weighs about two pounds!). A significant improvement from my previous doorknob, which was more like a limp-wristed handshake.

Rich and elegant appearance

This beautiful brass doorknob is just beautiful. It lends an air of sophistication to the door. It's just the right touch for your restoration project. My husband reports it had all the parts he needed to install. We both liked the efficient packaging and quality of the knobs themselves. He replaced our doorknob quickly and I was very pleased with the result. It looks rich and elegant.

A very nice, timeless-looking doorknob

A very nice doorknob, easy as any other to install. The "timeless bronze" finish is a very nice and understated color, but I should note that it doesn't exactly match my other (cheaper) door knobs like those from Kwikset. If you're looking to do a unformed look, you may want to take that into consideration. Otherwise a very nice knob that feels incredibly solid.
