Such a handy addition to my kitchen!

When my old egg cooker finally gave up the ghost (smile), I went on the search for one that hopefully held more eggs. Lo and behold, I ran across this gorgeous cooker that holds 14 EGGS! That's right! Eventually the price of eggs will come back down to where I can fill it up! Haha! This little baby was almost a steal, especially when purchased through Amazon Prime. The cooker seems well-built and I took it for its first test drive today. I made both boiled and poached eggs and they came out lovely. The egg piercer tool on the water cup ensures that the shells come off easily when peeled. The instruction manual even says you can steam vegetables in it as well, though I haven't tried that. It has an alarm to let you know when your eggs are cooked (handy because I tend to walk off and get busy doing other things!), and you fill the reservoir with water according to how done you want your eggs...soft, medium, or hard-boiled. This is great for meal prepping because you're able to do a meaningful quantity at one time...not to mention doing potato salad, egg salad, deviled eggs, and those "big egg jobs" where you need more than just a couple at a time. The extra little tray poaches/steams 4 eggs and they come out lovely. If you hate peeling eggs, you could even "boil" them in the poacher and save the peeling. Now I can keep boiled eggs in the fridge for lunches, topping salads, a quick breakfast on the go, or just something to curb the urge to eat stuff I need to stay away from! I generally live a reduced carb lifestyle, somewhere between keto and Atkins because my protein and fat ratios vary, but eggs have become an important source of protein and a mainstay part of my diet. Avoiding simple carbs helps keep my blood sugar in check. I'll be honest, I hate boiling eggs on the stove...just hate it...and the shells don't always want to come off. As with my old egg cooker (I had a Quisinart), the shells come off easily and I think there's something to steaming versus boiling them. Grateful to see someone design one that holds so many eggs! This is great. Highly recommend...plus, I bought the happy-looking yellow one and it looks pretty enough to just leave on the counter. :)

Perfect eggs

Perfect cooked eggs!!! ????

Wasn't sure about using this egg cooker, but am so glad I did! Cooks eggs perfectly! Super easy to use! I put 7 eggs in, poked the top with the bottom of the water cup, measured the water to "hard" and poured it onto the bottom, pushed the button on, and about 15-16 mins later they were done. Put them in an ice cold bowl of water. ✅ Easy to peel and cut through them with a butter knife. Highy recommend this product!

Quick & easy

What a cutie-patootie! Tried for 1st time today, felt daring, so made poached eggs. The first one was egg-cellent (get it? ????????????), but second one was overcooked, I assume because the machine was already hot. I guess I should put in less water for a second egg, or was wondering if I could cook 2 at once & not necessarily double the water but maybe somewhere between soft & medium. I guess I'll learn by trial & error but since most people eat 2 eggs at once, woulda been great if they would have instructed us on how to cook 2. But I'm VERY IMPRESSED! Will try making hard-boiled for work next week on the weekend. Didn't stick either! Sprayed some cooking oil on dish then wiped it around with paper towel. Works well & is super-cute!

The water tray is a good quality stainless steel. It cleans up quickly and it looks like new again. The tone signal is loud enough. I have 2 of these and would buy again.

I recommend this machine.

This makes wonderful hard boiled eggs. My husband loves the soft boiled eggs...the best he's had since he was a child. I haven't tried any other type if eggs in this machine yet. If only for hard and soft eggs, it is worth it to us.
