Should Have Bought It A Long Time Ago

This is a great product. Sturdy, very well designed, and extremely practical. I bought this product because I got tired of using regular spatulas to turn-over fish filets at home. These regular spatulas are simply not wide enough, which in turn leads to the fish filets breaking off at the middle or at the ends when frying on a regular skillet. I usually only turn the fillets once when cooking them on this way, but was growing frustrated with the breakage. Now, being stainless steel may sound like it will scratch your non-stick pans without mercy, this is not my experience. I grant you that I am quite careful when using it with these pans, but if you exercise some finesse when turning the fillets, you'll be alright. Haven't scratched any pans yet. You'll also need to be mindful of the size of the pan you'll be using, as the base of the turner is quite wide. Go for a 10" or 12" skillet and you'll have plenty of space to maneuver. It is really a great product.

Beautiful stainless steel

Beautiful stainless steel. I should think the body would be joined to the handle with rivets as opposed to tack welded. It is rather large for most fry pans, but I could see it serving other purposes than as a fish turner, such as scooping small cookies from a pan. It was shipped in a soft package and our mailperson crammed it into our mailbox bending it somewhat and causing the end of the handle to protrude from the packaging (was able to bend it back to original). Otherwise, it is lovely and I like it.

Works well, but stains. Impossible to scrub off the dark marks. Bought it because it was the smallest fish turner. I'm satisfied enough with the purchase. It does the job, and I know it's clean regardless of whether it looks it.

No brainer

Very solid flipper. Pure stainless steel, so no "weak link" of rubber or plastic. We just got a wood pellet grill and are lovin it. Being vegetarian, salmon and other fish are a big deal so...this helps. In fact, today we ordered a second one. Cost is reasonable. What else can one say?

Good quality

Works well for fish on the grill. Thin and wide blade gets under fish easily. About the only negative is the handle is thin and not comfortable for my large hands.

He loved it, but it seemed smaller than I thought ...

Product was a gift for a pescetarian. He loved it, but it seemed smaller than I thought it would be based on the write up. Didn't take out a ruler, so can't say if it met the measures listed. Not a big deal as my son was very happy.

Fits the whole fillet

Worked great to flip the whole fillet on the grill. Sharp edge can get under the fish easily to reduce sticking on the grate.
