Just Like new
Took put old icemaker, installed new one and turned on the water. Presto ICE!! Easy, just remember to take off cover on old one to disconnect the electrical connection.

works like a charm...slid into place easily :)
purchased norcold part number....found utube video on replacement of old unit...watched the video the nite before ....took apart the new ice maker assembly to identify plug locations, how it worked etc day of transplant....all smooth...out and new in in bout an hour we have nice ice again

Our Norcold ice maker in our Motorhome sprung a water leak and kept tripping our 12V Circuit. Ordered, replaced the unit and voila no more problem. We have ice.

Quality part, best price
I replaced my old unit identical to this one. The unit comes as shown in photo lacking some parts for a complete ice maker. Some of the old parts fit exactly and all works as expected. The ice forming tray of my old ice maker was pealing off and quite disgusting. I advise to dry out the half moon shaped tray when not in use. I only discovered this tray pealing problem because I thought my ice maker was broken and not producing ice. I learned the ice maker requires 120 volts to operate and water pressure also, so don’t make my mistake. I connected my frig to the inverter but operate on propane most of the time and always have ice produced.

Missing parts.
The unit is an exact replacement. It is not a add on ice maker, if you aren’t replacing one don’t buy this all the parts are not needed. Luckily I didn’t throw the old one away before it came in. You need the gear cover and the front bar that indicates if your full of ice and turns the ice maker on and off. This is not in description that I could find.

The only replacement for ALL Norcold ice makers.
My old one gave up the ghost after full timing for the last 9 years. Pretty good track record for any RV product these days! The replacement was fairly easy to install, but came with no installation instructions at all. Since every single Norcold RV freezer ever made uses this exact same ice maker, I guess they assume the Norcold guide would tell you how to replace it. But, it didn't.... Fortunately I was able to figure it out without too much trouble. After installation about a month ago, this one started a little slow and was only dumping about every 8 hours. It's now speeded up and is making a dump about every 4 to 5 hours.

Piece broke off during shipping
The little”cup” where the water from the spout in the freezer pours into was broken off. I will be ordering another one so really can’t say how well it works other than it wasn’t packed that well and that’s why it broke. UPDATE: Received 2nd one and works perfect!
