Perfect drop-in replacement for the ones my home was built with.

These are a drop-in replacement for the ones my home was built with. They are swapped out pretty easily, but I have now started repairing the failed units. Look for a blown 75 ohm smd resistor right next to the neutral line input.

Had ridges

This replacement light had ridges on the inside of the casing. Previous ones did not. And, yes it is the same brand, size, and type as my others. Didn't affect the use of the light and I didn't notice the difference.

Good but a bit yellow

Easy to use and comes with some adapter for retrofitting. Easy to install. The only issue I had was that the light was a little more yellow than my current lights. I was not able to find the model I was looking for (NOX-563230WW / CCT:300k / CRI:90 / 750Lumens so this seemed like the next best thing. Good enough.

Does the job.

Arrived on time. Easy installation. Does the job. Looks great. When one of the kitchen lights stopped working prematurely (just under two years), I searched and couldn't find this style at the local stores. Fortunately, Amazon had it so I didn't have to replace all of them or have a mismatched light. Now, time will tell how long this one and the others will last. I write the install date with a sharpie on the housing, so I know how long these things really last.

To early to tell.....

These were replacements for the lights installed in my new home that started flickering (or not working at all) in less than a year. Time will tell whether it’s a problem inherent in the product itself or just a few bad bulbs out of the 50 or so originally installed in our home.

So far so good.

Builder used this brand through out the house only one burned out and partially my fault. Need to retrofit the closet so they all match all around. Original is 3yrs so hopefully it lasts.

Its a gamble

Lets get the good out of the way. They look nice, dim fine, easy to install and work well, when they work. When they work. On to the bad... We had about 12 of these installed when our house was built. We had to have the electrician come back and replace faulty lights about 6 times and I replaced 2 myself. The numbers include replacing some replacements. Honestly, I lost count. Now that it has been some years, we have to maintain these moving forward. So, I have had to start replacing them when they fail. I would move to another similar looking unit, but wanted to keep them the same or rip them all out. The gamble is that the "good ones" seem to work and last as intended. The "bad ones" which for us is about a 40% chance will start acting up after a few months to a year. When they become faulty, the light takes a few extra seconds to turn on...over time, takes longer to come one...then never comes on again. For now, I am continuing to buy these hoping I get to 12 good ones. Mostly stable at this point but just had one more fail that is about 4 years old, which makes me question my strategy. If you are just starting out, look elsewhere unless you like gambling needlessly.
