ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS
I rarely ever write reviews. Maybe if the vendor is a total screw up. Otherwise I am usually pretty happy with my Amazon purchases. Now for this product. I read the reviews BEFORE I made this purchase. I read reviews on a gazillion coffee makers before I made this purchase. I was still leary. The only real complaint I read was that the coffee comes out too hot. If you read the true brewing specs for all coffees you will find that coffee should be brewed at 205 degrees and that most budget coffee makers don't quite achieve that goal. Apparently this one does and that is a problem for a few. I bought it. tested it. AND I LOVE IT. Yes it is hot coffee. It is supposed to be. But that actually makes for a better tasting coffee and with the shower head delivery, it gets you a far stronger taste from your coffee than other budget coffee makers. I know. I tested it. I was shocked. Coffee made in this machine is great. BEST budget coffee maker I have ever owned. I will put it up against coffee makers costing hundreds more.

Excellent Ninja coffee maker. Great features at less expense.
After research on many similar and more expensive coffee makers, I chose the Ninja12 cup. Unit is tall and sturdy but easily fits in my condo kitchen. This replaced an old programmable Mr. Coffee. Nijna is major improvement in ease of use, cleaning and coffee flavor. 1) Packaging is great. Amazon supplies a custom shipping container that exactly fits Ninja supplied box. The inner box has clear easy to read setup instructions. Each piece is protected. 2) Setup is fast and easy. Take unit apart and hand wash each piece. Assemble and run water only through two brewing cycles, discarding hot water. I ran 3 water cycles for luck. This brand new appliance had NO bad smells or outgassing. Clock is bright and easy to see. 3) Brewed small batch 3 cups on Rich setting using #4 paper cone filter. Delish. Then ran 8 cups Classical setting on automatic this morning using permanent gold foil filter. Excellent hot coffee. Used mix of Peets and Starbucks ground decaf blends. Measured with attached Ninja scoop one-scoop for each cup filtered water. Can pour water in (like Mr. Coffee) or remove reservoir to fill. Maker easy to use and clean. Programmable warmer plate useful: OFF, 2 hours or 0-4 hours. Coffee grounds thoroughly soaked by shower head with no splashing or waste. Brews quickly with nominal noise. Coffee hot and tasty.

Fantastic HOT Coffee
My coffee maker was taking 1/2 hour to make six cups, even after a recent cleaning; so I decided to look for something better. The copper color drew me in, but it was the reviews that convinced me. I took the plunge and every day I am very happy that I did. I have finally found a maker that makes a cup of coffee hot enough to suit me; and it stays hot enough to enjoy whole cup! The robust but smooth flavor is unmatched and it does it all super-fast! For the person that complained that the pot drips, you must have the top on wrong! This is the only coffee pot I have ever owned that doesn't drip, at all, but pours straight into the cup. I set my pot to keep hot for 4 hours. It keeps it just-brewed hot with just-brewed flavor the entire 4 hours. No murky coffee or burned taste; the last sip is just as delicious as the first! Fantastic design. Fantastic coffee. Fantastic coffee pot! I don't ever want to own a different one. Go ahead and buy one. You will be so happy you did!

Hot Stuff
Makes a great cup of coffee. Period. I have have been a loyal Cuisinart customer who has happily owned two grind and brew coffee makers over the course of the last 20 years. I actually thought it made a great cup of coffee. However, by comparison to this Ninja it turns out that it wasn’t so great. The difference? The Ninja seems to boil water at a much higher temperature and evenly disperses it over the grinds to produce a rich flavorful cup of coffee. I typically purchased relatively expensive whole beans to use with the grind and brew. As it turns out modestly priced pre ground coffee actually tastes better out of the Ninja than expensive whole beans tasted out of the Cuisinart. The Ninja is also very well designed. It’s very easy to use and clean. It has a removal water tank as well as an integrated coffee scoop on the side. They thought of everything. My only concern is how well the solenoid push buttons will hold up. I will have to wait and see. But for now I couldn’t be happier.

4000 years and the Ninja engineers are unable to make a pot that pours without a LOT of dibbling.
Couple months of 2+ full pot use each day. Good slim-width profile. Quiet if that matters. does not appear to overflow. 3 or 4 hour holding temp which I love! Jury is still out on the water tank. Not sure I love it. Will it last? I think so. A lot of long straight surfaces on it that may be a location for cracking if dropped say on the kitchen counter to sink. Will see. The pot is unable to pour without putting a 1/8th cup of coffee onto the counter unless you are very careful. Horrible spout. You just know someone will pour and lay down a lot of coffee to be cleaned up. Its not that hard to make a no-spill spout. Limited 14-cup choices. Done with Kitchen Aid and Cuisinart coffee machines from Amazon AND Costco that only last 1 to 2 years! Hoping this will last longer. We use a Kitchin Aid Burr grinder that we love.

It is brought to the UK with a two pinned plug, you have to buy a US to UK adaptor for around £11 which blows your electrics,
