Does not fit over 3/4" pvc pipe...

It IS 3/4" it DOES NOT fit over 3/4" pipe. I probably read the description wrong, hopefully this will save someone else from making the same mistake.

Received the Wrong Size

To join two pipes that are at a straight angle to one another, use 90° elbows. One of these was required for a cold-water pipe in my greenhouse. Although I asked for the correct size, I did not receive the one I wanted. It is a little bit larger than the half-inch I needed, probably around three-quarters of an inch. With the pipe, this will not function at all. It is created like a standard plumbing component out of common materials, and is packaged in plastic, but it's the wrong item and not what I wanted.

I bought this just for the free shipping of my Amazon.com order

I was a few cents short of being able to get free shipping from Amazon. So I bought the cheapest thing I could find so I would qualify for free shipping. I don't know what the hell I would use this for. It looks like a piece of plastic macaroni. I'm sure it works fine for it's intended purpose... whatever the hell that is. My intended purpose was to get free shipping and for that it worked great!

This is NOT a standard 1/2" PVC fitting

A standard 1/2" fitting would fit a 1/2" pipe. This fitting is about the same diameter as a 1/2" pipe (although its a tad too big to even fit in a standard 1/2" fitting such as a coupler). I'm sure there is some application for it, but it is probably not what most people expect.
