I did not like the fact that I did not get the three pack of the item

Great value for the money and just works

I'm replacing a bunch of doors in my home. Worked great initially, but after marking the hinges on the 5th or 6th door, I noticed that the long cutting edge is no longer square and has started to bend a little. Since I only have a few more doors to hang, I will keep using the marker. Nobody would ever notice once the doors are all painted.

It's old school the best school

They sell newer versions that require a router. I prefer this method and a chissel.

Not as accurate.

It was not as accurate as I thought for hinges I used. Needed to remeasure and remark to ensure fit.

Does what it is supposed to but dulls very fast. I needed to mark 8 hinges and by hinge 4 or 5 it was already not marking things properly. If you have a router, I would definitely by one of the hinge cutting templates.

Good Tool for Beginners

New to the DIY construction game, this tool helped cut down on the time it took to ready our door for the wall. A professional may not require this but it eliminates a good deal of stress to be accurate and at the appropriate angle, as door installation is an art. This helps makes one part of it more science.

It wasn’t as wide as my 3.5” hinges.

Doesn't work

Not a great item. It dulls easy and a touch too small for 3.5 inches. Would return if it wasn't used a few times
