Not as realistic as I hoped
I will ultimately return this for the price. Not bad at all from afar if putting in a corner. The base of the plant was really unrealistic though - very plastic appearing - and the seams on the plant are visible. See pics.

Incredibly fake looking bulb at bottom of plant
The top of the plant looks great, very realistic, but the bulb at the bottom looks like something that came from a dollar store. Instead of returning it, I did the following fix: I removed the four small plants from the corners, and then wrapped the bulb of the plant with regular cream-colored masking tape. After giving the bulb a "Layered look" I took some wood stain and stained the masking tape horizontally so that it created more of a bark appearance. It is now suitable for display. The same effect could have probably been achieved with painting the bulb with different colors of matte or flat-finished paint, but if you are not willing to do a fix to make it more presentable you will be very disappointed with the appearance.

Very Realistic Agave Plant
I bought this plant as an impulse buy after sinking quite a huge chunk of my last tax return into new living room furniture and decorations. There was something missing not only in the corner of my newly done over living room but also in the color concept. All browns, beiges and rust colors I knew I needed some sort of pop of color or greenery. I do not in any way have a green thumb so keeping an actual plant alive would be a disaster and since I'm no expert on purchasing prepaid plants online I chose this one after several hours of sifting thorough page after page of 'fake plant' results on Amazon. I could not be happier. I placed this plant on top of a small snack type table I had purchased and it just looks great. Not to large, not too small and very realistic looking.

I love this plant
I love this plant. I am a little picky about artifical plants was a little nervous to order this sight unseen when artificial plants can really vary in quality, but I'm glad I trusted the good reviews. From a distance it looks very real but as others have mentioned if you get up close to it (within 1-2 feet) you see signs that its not. But realistically no one gets that close to someone else's plant! ;-). The only giveaway even then is if you see some of the staples in the base...the leaves still look real right up close and even feel real. My cat thinks its real enough the he wants to chew on it. It isn't shiny (a dead giveaway for artificial plants) and even has brown tips to add to the authenticity. It isn't a bright green (like grass) but slightly muted. I like it enough I may even buy another.

perfect height for what I was looking for as reviews say they are shorter then expected
Love these. I ordered one first to see if I liked it and I did. I then went to go order 2 more however the price changed and went up $20 for each one. I waited a few weeks to see if it would drop but it never did. I went ahead and bought the other two anyways to complete my balcony. I love them and receive heaps of compliments from friends and neighbors. A handful of them are planning to buy them so looks like I started a cute balcony trend! Haha. Even though I had to bite the bullet and pay $40 more than expected I love them! So if you are wanting to purchase more than 1 I suggest to buy them all at once.
