Comfortable - But Very High on Leg

These socks are very comfortable for the person for whom I bought them. His personal preference is to have ones that don't go as high up on the leg, but other than that they are very soft and warm and comfortable.

I HATE THESE STUPID DOTS

When you see the word "slippers", they have anti-slip dots on the bottom. I HATE THESE STUPID DOTS! I want socks not slipper socks! but they are thick and long, so I settled. They already have a hole so treat well.

We ordered this exact item two months ago and liked them enough that we ordered a second pair... Unfortunately, this second pair has multiple flaws on the soles of the socks. Big clumps of the yarn are not woven into the rest of the sock; even some of the anti-slip grippers on the soles are hanging off by a thread. Back they go... (Amazon: what's going on with your quality control of 3rd party manufacturers?)
