Easy repair

Easy repair to the Ryobi trimmer with this kit. Done in minutes.

Instructions could be better, but it worked great

The instructions were not as detailed as they could have been, so it left room for a bit of trial an error. The kit was complete and got my craftsman string trimmer back in business. All parts were perfect fits.

Fuel return line too large for hole in tank

Have a Bolens string trimmer made by MTD. This kit was supposed to be compatible with it. On my machine the fuel return line is slightly smaller diameter than the hole in the gas tank and even trimming the fuel line at an angle wouldn't fit it through. Ended up having to drill out the hole slightly and then the hose would go through.

Repaired a Troy-Bilt TB415CS in a couple minutes

After checking gaps on plug and rockers, cleaning arrestor and tearing into the trimmer I I was starting to lose hope. After reassembly I noticed I lost the primer bulb pressure. There was a deceiving crack right where the fuel supply passed through the tank and it wasn't until it failed a little further that I lost pressure completely and decided to swap the lines. The original parts are all fairly expensive individually and I hadn't found this kit right away. After poking a hole in the angled end and using the puller to draw the supply hose through the tank, I had both lines swapped in just a couple minutes. Replaced the primer for good measure while I was doing it. Now I'm back to a perfect one pull start and idle like the day I bought it. I have enough tubing left to replace the return line or maybe the supply line once more, but not both.

Great deal

Came with everything needed to renew my old Yardman weed eater. The fuel line failed and I was ready to trash it, but this kit has everything that I needed to restore its operation. The filter, the union, the bulb, the tool, and enough fuel to replace the supply, return and overflow. Works great!

Fits a early 80's cub cadet like a glove

I just this purchaseed this kit instead of buying the factory assembled unit because this kit comes with the same parts and you just put it together yourself and save a lot of money. Everything fit perfect, trim to fit the lines and everything else falls in place. They send multiple sizes of primer buttons and all the hose you need and a filter and you're good to go. I included the picture as it is an old Cub cadet pre mtd and well worth this repair. And it is a four cycle weed eater no less and it worked perfectly. I built the factory unit in my garage basically and installed it and it worked wonderful.

Worked perfectly to replace the fuel line

I looked to replace my gas tank for my Troy-Bilt String Trimmer, but they no longer make it and all that was needed was to replace the fuel line. This worked excellent. Easy to use, I think it took less time to replace the lines than it took to remove the fuel tank and old lines. The line feeder tool is invaluable in the replacement. This worked for me. Make sure the open "U" side is where the tip of the cut is. When I pulled the line through the hole it the tank the cut portion came immediately none if very little wiggling was needed to get it through the hole!
