Not as warm as expected!

Fantastic Brand and Great Product

Love this brand and have enjoyed 4 of these coats. I have a navy and a black for travel and for wearing underneath wool coats in the city- I can be warm and fashionable, its easy to hide this coat under a huge wool jacket, it just looks like a lining. I have one for casual running around in grey, and a lilac grey that I just bought because I just loved the colour. I love these because of how durable they are, how easy and light to pack and they fit in my purse or flying bag. I keep one in the car in its pocket at all times.

It is perfect to layer under a coat for cold weather skiing! Takes up a very small amount of room in a suitcase or back pack . Great thin layer that packs plenty of warmth!

Not good for curves

This is my 5th brand of technical outdoor gear I've tried and it is still cut too narrow at the hips. I don't know why these brands seem to think that girls with curves don't do outdoor sports. Also, the color is definitely more muted in person, the screen color looked much brighter. Unfortunately, another return. One day I'll find my brand.

Awesome Down Puffy Coat

This is the lightest, warmest down puffy I have ever tried! High quality, but on the pricer side. You get what you pay for! I got a large, but could've done with a medium...

Received my jacket with a hole on it.

Just received my jacket this morning, with a hole on the front chest part, and pulled thread. Very disappointed!

lightweight and great fit!

I was thrilled with this jacket! It was my first Mountain Hardwear product (I had heard it was the best "lightweight puffer" and that is correct! ) I have a lot of coats (a lot!) and this is by far the lightest weight in this style that I own. I bought the Medium: I'm 5'4, 130 pounds, 36C bust and it fits me well (even with a lightweight fleece underneath). I was particularly pleased because I'm a little "busty" but it zipped in this area fine. And the arms are long enough ... finally! The "only" thing is that I had bought the "Dark Slate" colour and in the pictures it has a sheen to it (which I loved) ... but not so much in person. Not dull, but not as shiny as the picture indicates. Keeps me warm walking to work with a heavy knapsack slugged over my shoulders. Material can take it ... seems well constructed. Flattering style (on me at least ... I'm happy). Love it love it.
