My son is obsessed with his giant animal figures so I bought this for him to set all of his animals in. He absolutely loves it and it fits his big animal figurines perfectly. Love the wood, colors, garage and elevator! Great quality and pleasing to the eye vs the bright colored plastic ones.

Hours and hours of fun!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and she loves it. It was easy to assemble, has a handle on the roof which is nice for pulling it to the middle of the floor for playtime. The elevator is a bit stiff still, even after 3 months, but it doesn't stop my daughter from using it. Great quality. Lots of fun, just be prepared to play dolls for hours with your kiddos!

Too cute!

We got this for our boys for Christmas and they love it. Our boys love pretend play and I wanted to get them a dollhouse that was more gender neutral and not girly. This is well made, sturdy, the perfect size, and lots of fun! My 4 year old enjoys setting up the furniture and people in all of the rooms. This can be enjoyed for several more years.

Awesome !

Took a bit to put together but the directions are awesome. Very sturdy. Plenty of rooms and furniture I got an extra set of dolls my two year old loves it ! Well worth the money

No problem putting this together - easy set up and looks great!

I had this dollhouse in my cart for several weeks before placing the order. The reviews talking about the difficulty in putting it together kept me looking for something better. Once the Christmas budget had been decimated on ipad minis, it became apparent that this would be the perfect dollhouse, because it fit what was left of my budget! I figured if I ordered early I would have time to send parts back that didn't fit right. Anyway, to make a long story short, I received the dollhouse yesterday and started putting it together as soon as my daughter went to bed last night. I kept going along in putting it together, waiting for the part where things got hard or didn't line up, but that never happened! I put this together in roughly 45 minutes (a little less if you take out the time it took me to install a flashlight ap on my phone, so that I could see the nut and make sure that it was lined up straight in the hole). Perhaps they have changed the instructions or addressed a quality control issue? Not sure. All I know is that it was super easy for me to put together. One tip is to have a flashlight handy. You drop these little nuts into the pre-drilled holes and you need to be sure that they are facing the right way so that when the other piece goes on and you put a bolt through, the bolt will fit into the nut properly. A flashlight helps with that - I also used the tool that was included to put through ahead of time and make sure that the nut opening was tilted just right. A couple of times it turned a little while I was putting on the piece that I needed to secure and I just had to use a screwdriver to tip it back up a bit. Anyway, just wanted to add this review because I don't want others to be scared off by the negative reviews regarding putting this together. It was a breeze and I couldn't be happier! My daughter is going to love this! ****edited**** Now that we've had this for a few weeks I do have a couple of small complaints... 1) the elevator has come out once. Luckily it was easy to get back in, but I have had to fix it a couple more times since then because an edge was starting to come out again. 2) the elevator does not stay put. It would be nice if the elevator channels had little notches in it - or something that would catch so that the elevator stays put. My daughter (3) plays with it with the roof off and she came up with her own little system - she put a rubber band around the roof pegs and "hangs" her elevator by that. Doesn't really fix it, but she likes the novelty of the elevator going up on it's own. I have a feeling that the elevator will be gone before too much longer. I think her dad can probably build some stairs and attach them easily enough 3) and this is not necessarily the dollhouses fault, but I think this is a little difficult to play with at floor level. My daughter plays mainly with the higher up levels. When she is sitting she can't really reach the bottom level (kitchen?). When we get the chance I'd like to build a little, low shelf for it so that she can reach that room as well. Otherwise I am still very happy with this purchase!

Melissa and Doug never disappoints!

Got this dollhouse for our 7 year old daughter, and she absolutely LOVES it! When I took everything out of the box, it looked a bit overwhelming to put together. But it's actually very simple! As long as you lay out all parts beforehand, and carefully follow the directions step by step, you'll have no issues whatsoever. I put this together by myself and it took me about a half hour. It's very sturdy, and the little furniture and people figurines are just adorable. Highly recommend if you're wanting a long lasting dollhouse you can keep in the family for years!

Wooden doll house

Purchased for Christmas for our two year old great granddaughter! Because of the small pieces, her parents didn’t put it together until a year later! It is precious!

Great first dollhouse

This is a great doll house for anyone really, but I think it makes a really good first dollhouse for a young child. It is sturdy but lightweight enough to move around really easily. My daughter is 2 and she loves it. Ours was actually missing the car that supposedly comes with it, so that’s a bummer. But everything else was there. The only real downside is the assembly is super annoying/frustrating. Nevertheless, I managed without giving up or throwing it out… so that’s something!

Worth the wait

I bought this during the Black Friday sales and I'm glad I waited. It was fairly easy to put together but very sturdy. The doll house accessories it comes with are also very well made and sturdy. Nothing bad to say about this set but I'm glad I waiting until it was $150.

Great buy.

Exactly how it is described and how it looks. Fun and sturdy. Easy to assemble and the furniture and dolls that are included are quite good to get started. Plan to build my own furniture with Lego and blocks for now. Installed string/ fairy lights to add a fun element.

It’s expensive but it’s amazing.u don’t get it anywhere except hamleys.and hamleys also didn’t have much variety.received it in perfect condition.easy to assemble .quality is very good.its fun to slide the lift

Good past time

It's a good play thing with a lot of roleplaying possible. And that it is gender nuteral makes it even better. The only doll house I have seen which is not about a princess and only for girls.
