The BarcaLounger of Toilet Seats!

If you thought your favorite chair was comfortable? Move over, La-Z-Boy! There's a new seat in the house! I liked it so much, I told my brothers --- and they ordered one each for their homes. My youngest brother said he and his wife might have a hard time getting their guests to leave the bathroom! He's crazy about theirs. Warning! You might like it so much, you'll never see your family again. So, be forewarned. This is one seriously comfortable seat. Joking aside, the seat is perfect for those who suffer from their legs going to sleep almost immediately upon sitting on the toilet. Not to say that if you camp out for an hour on this thing that your legs won't go numb, but after a reasonable amount of time, I still don't experience numbness in my lower extremities! The soft cushion on the pressure points is perfectly positioned. And hello to wider buttocks! This seat has you covered! Easy to install and clean. Attractive and LOVE that slow-closing lid! Super durable. I'd give them away as Christmas gifts to my family, except I don't want to be THAT person! But seriously, you can't go wrong buying this seat. Thank me now, or thank me later --- but you'll eventually thank me.

Comfy

I have had cancer and lost a lot of weight. My bony butt didn’t like the regular seat. Don’t know how long it will hold up and there are special cleaning instructions but so far, it’s like sitting in a caddy vs a yugo.

Can't get it to say on and hubby is hating it now, so I got 4 months out of it. Can't try again at that price.

More comfortable for the elderly

Our client is very old and very thin. This seat is wider and has ergonomic (I’ll call them) indentions that are of a softer material that gives a bit. No more complaints that the seat is so hard! Thanks to the inventor!

I do like this seat. It does help the pain. However my experiences with soft seats is that they don’t hold up, so this will have to be ok

The best one...

Okay, so I should start by saying I've had worsening sciatica in both hips since I was twelve years old, due to a mild case of spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. Just to clear up that having CP doesn't necessarily mean you may always have seizures, difficulty speaking and constantly drooling. I don't have any of those issues with my condition. What I have is simply some very stiff Achilles tendons and my left hand is pretty much worthless. Thereby causing my back, particularly my pelvis and hips to be in constant pain to some degree everyday. And yes, when you have this condition that doesn't make you exempt from the bare necessities of life. Hence, again, when I was twelve years old, was when I really started to notice the sciatica, to the point where my physical therapist at the time suggested I get a padded toilet seat....um I was a twelve-year-old boy and that wasn't going to be happening.... However, when I was twenty-four I finally gave in and got one (I am a slow learner in the words of Anikin Skywalker) However, I noticed after a few months that the padding would go flat and then my hips would just flare in pain. I should be clear that I sit to do both number one and two, as it's just easier on my back to do so I found. So you can imagine the pain I was dealing with. Buuuut, then I found this little beauty. And BOY does it make a HUGE difference!! It's contoured like an actual chairback, and padded at the thighs and hips, so it's PERFECT! I've noticed too that I also not having severe blistering\bleeding in the tailbone area anymore after going. It's made cleaning myself afterward WAY easier too. I think this has to do with the way it lets the pelvis keep a straight posture when sitting via the ergonomic design. I LOVE this thing!! It's been long overdue and so worth the money even though times are tough these days. You won't regret it!! BUY IT!! :)

Most comfortable seat ever - even for those without 'issues'

I have piriformis triggered nerve and back pain. This seat did the most to alleviate aggravating those issues , much more that the thick padded seat I tried first. I believe the biggest comfort factor is not the gel inserts but the shape of the seat itself. It is more concave than other seats so your weight is more evenly distributed. It feels more like you are sitting in it - not on it. My wife who does not suffer from my issues finds it noticeably moe comfortable than the stock seat that came with the Toto toilet. If they made one in almond we would buy it for our second bathroom and like it so much we are considering getting a white toilet for that bathroom just so we can install this seat.

Completely satisfied with this product. Meets all the proper check points. Really like the way it attaches to the body of the toilet. Snug as a bug!! Definetely will re-purchase this product.
