My favorite eyeliner as a beginner! Brown does not look brown though

For my entire life I could NOT do liquid eyeliner. My hand would just shake way too much. This is the only eyeliner that I was somehow magically able to use and it comes out beautifully. The way I learned how to do liquid eyeliner was I used to tape around my eye and use a thin brush to put on black eyeshadow instead of liner. That got my hand much more steady and it was good practice. Once I bought this eyeliner, my hand was much steadier and perfect for this product. It is not water proof at ALL and it does smudge easily but that isn’t a problem for me. This probably isn’t the eyeliner for someone who is very good at makeup and wants extravagant looks. But as someone who messes up easily, this was perfect for me. It usually lasts all day. I’ve used this product for over a year and I just bought a second one in a different color. I bought the brown and it looks the exact same as black. Cant see a single difference which is disappointing

Decent liquid liner

The cap doesn’t snap on when you close it, so I press very hard when putting back on to ensure that it doesn’t fall off. I could gift sworn the description said water proof but it isn’t. I gave it 4 stars because the price is reasonable. It’s a black liquid liner that doesn’t feel different than others I’ve tried

Best eyeliner I’ve purchased

I love this eye liner so much! It’s so easy to apply a straight line and I love how dark and bold the black coloring is on this one!

This stuff really works

I bought this product as i found the old fashioned eye liner just smudged quickly and never looked good. This is super easy to apply and really does work great. Will definitely buy again.

Very nice but maybe not for beginners

I honestly just bought this to fill my quota for one of my Amazon Fresh orders but I think it's a good product. I ended up trying it out during my orchestra concert. It's very dark and stays on very well (super water resistant). It kind of smudges but not a lot. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who hasn't really done makeup before because it's harder to apply than pencil eyeliner. It did end up looking amazing though so I think I'll be using it a lot more.

MY FAV EYELINER

I have been using this eyeliner for YEARS! Have tried so many other brands liquid eyeliners (benefit, urban decay, MAC, etc) and this one still seems to always be my favorite. Even the non-waterproof one stays all night! I wear it all day, then a night out, and wake up with it still intact!!

Wouldn't Repurchase

I wouldn't but this eyeliner again. It's easy to apply but the product itself isn't great. The left swatch is after letting it dry, and wiping. The right is Smashbox liquid liner, doing the same. Even when first applied, pretty transparent and doesn't look black.

Doesnt stay put

I have used many eye liners for the past 20 years and I can tell you this is not one of the best. It does go on easily and evenly but by the afternoon it was barely visible on the top of my eye lid and I had a slight panda eye effect. The weather is cold here so it’s not like I was sweating or working outdoors. After seeing the amount of reviews I really had high hopes for this one. I guess not :(

Best liquid eyeliner

Best liquid liner I have used and I have tried many. They are either too thick or thin but this one is spot on. It applies super easy with a deep colour and after months of use it has not dried out or lost its deep blackness. I usually wait for it to go onsale. It has the perfect applicator brush because again the tip is neither too thin nor too thick. I use it to line and to extend it to a cat eye. I will be repurchasing this liquid eyeliner.Also since using it near eye area you want something that wont cause irritation. Avoid going with cheaper products. This Maybelline one has caused me no irritation and I have very sensitive eyes. Comes off easily with any makeup remover. Does not smear during time on.

Great overall but smudges!!!

Super easy to apply, soft applicator/pen tip, doesn't bend or scratch. Smooth and glides on. You can go over the same spot without it picking up the first layer. BUT! Very smudgy! Touch with your finger, a damp q-tip, anything, and it'll smudge and smear all over. I like to sometimes clean up the edge of my wing with a damp point-tip Q-tip and it just smears the whole thing into a mess. So be careful with that. Long lasting, comfortable on the eye, glides on. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't so smudgy and smeary.

Not impressed!

I have been trying a number of eyeliner options lately and this was among them. WARNING: This is NOT waterproof or smudge-proof! It is also not easy to put on and seems to have dried out quite quickly. I had been hoping this would work on my waterline but is not a good option for that. Price is great but not if it doesn't work for me. I will NOT be re-ordering this one!
