Forest Stewardship Certified (FSC) wood used for puzzle pieces.

Each of the puzzle pieces is sharply cut and they interlock solidly. I like that the wood used in the puzzles is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council to help preserve the world's forests. The pieces are an easy size to handle. One of the photos with this review shows a U.S. quarter on top of the puzzle pieces to show the comparative size. This is a nice 500-piece puzzle for any puzzle lover, but especially for Mattel's Masters of the Universe fans. Colors are bright and cleanly printed. There is a separate picture of what the completed puzzle image will look like, but it is exactly the same size as the picture on the outside of the box. I prefer the pictures that are closer to the size of the fully assembled puzzle. That is not enough to detract from the quality of the puzzle, though, so the five-star rating stands.

He-man and Skeletor, 14.25" x 19", 500 piece puzzle

This He-man and Skeletor jigsaw puzzle is 500 pieces, and 14.25" x 19" when assembled. The style of that art is similar to that seen with some of the old packaging for the 1980s, "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" toys. The puzzle box is sealed with 2 large, clear stickers on the bottom of the box, so it's secure, but easy to open. Within the box all of the puzzle pieces are sealed within a plastic bag and not loose in the box, all pieces should be there when you begin putting the puzzle together. Also included in the box is a small, mini poster. Being 500 pieces, this is a nice puzzle, not too difficult to complete within a day. It's not too simple, but not something that will consume many days. For the price, it's a nice puzzle!

Fantastic quality!

This puzzle is perfect for MOTU lovers! The pieces are very well cut with sharp edges and they hook together perfectly. This is especially important because there is a large area of red background with gray variations and having precisely cut pieces ensures the correct pieces are hooked together in these areas. The rest of the puzzle has great vibrant color and details. The puzzle says ages 8-99, but I would recommend slightly older. My 8 year old had fun helping with this puzzle, but the pieces are pretty small and the puzzle has many small details that made this slightly frustrating for someone that young. I, however, being a child of the 80s, LOVE IT!

By the Power of Grayskull!

In case you didn't know it, Masters of the Universe is making a huge comeback. You can now find rereleased figures of classic characters in Wal Mart and other stores. A new generation of children will be able to watch the ongoing battles between He Man and Skeletor. This puzzle is awesome for any MOTU fan. It is very nice quality and the materials are certified as sustainably made and constructed. The pieces are sharply cut and connect easily to one another when properly placed. The picture is crisp and good quality. This puzzle is fun to put together and a must have for any MOTU fan!!!

Fantastic artwork

Masters of the Universe is making a big comeback (especially with 40 year olds). I've seen more MOTU branded items in the last couple of years than I ever saw in my childhood. The artwork on this puzzle is simply fantastic. The attention to detail is stunning. Yeah, it takes me a while to put together 500 pieces, but that's the fun of puzzles. Next time around I want to get puzzle glue and frame it. I can speak enough about how great the artwork is.

Fun puzzle with some nostalgia

I am an 80's kid and loved He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. I saw the Battle Cat puzzle and immediately ordered it. Then I saw this puzzle and also immediately ordered it too. The pieces are small and so the overall puzzle is also small. But its only a 500 piece puzzle so that's fine. I think I may have done this exact puzzle, or a very similar one, as a child. I loved doing that puzzle back then and I loved doing this puzzle now. If you are a He-Man fan, I highly recommend this puzzle.
