Good for what it is.

Just bought a stronglite table but did not want to pay the high price for armrest. Thought I would try this instead. It arrived on time and seems to be just fine, sturdy, soft upholstery. Does its job and am pleased I didn’t pay earthlite’s price for something that should come included with the table, in my opinion. Bought this company’s portable folding stool as well. I like both. It remains to be seen on how will hold up to use.

Disappointed

I am very unhappy with this purchase. The rear straps that attach the shelf to the neck cradle are simply too short. I purchased this shelf as a replacement for one that came with a Master massage table purchased three years ago. The vinyl was wearing off the old shelf. I measured the two. The difference is close to 3 inches This causes two problems. First the front piece is the proper length so the unit does not hang level. Second because it is too close, the patient's arms do not hang low enough and the position is very uncomfortable. I love the quality of this arm shelf compared to other shelves I have purchased from other manufacturers. The size and padding thickness are also very good. However, if it will not hang right then it is useless to me and will be returned. I have contacted Master customer service. I will update as they have promised to return my phone call in one hour.

Straps not the same length

The velcro strap in the middle (basically the one that holds the whole thing up) is WAY longer than the ones on the side and the velcro pieces don't line up, so in order to make the contraption level I have to tie the strap to itself to shorten it, rather than use the velcro traditionally. Very annoying.

Love IT!!!

I have a client who is a very large man, close to 300 lbs!! There was not enough room on my table for his arms to rest, his body takes up the whole bed. This accessory was great for him, and the velcro was strong enough to hold the weight of his very large arms!!! He was sooo comfortable that he feel asleep during his massage, the first time ever!!! Love it!!!
