It is highly recommended for travel ball!
It is amazing for my 10 year old son. My son is in 10u travel and love's this new bat! He says that it does not sting and it is the perfect size. We got him a 30 in and 20oz. Hope this helps!

Great bat!
You won't find a better bat in this price range. The Cat 9 is the best metal bat on the market. My 14u son came from the Cat 8 to the 9 and absolutely loves it. He says it has great pop, with no vibration.

Very nice!
My son plays 8u travel and he absolutely loves his bat! Before we got him his own, he would always use his teammate’s Cat9 and he kept begging us for one. So for his 8th birthday we surprised him! Great pop!

Great bat with plenty of pop.
My son has been very pleased with this bat. We went from a 29" down to a 28" and it has improved his swing and control. It is an expensive bat, but the resale market is almost as high as the new purchase price. So we will just sell it when he outgrows it and buy the next size up.

HR First in Game at Bat
Yep, my 12U son hit a HR his first at bat with this CAT9. We had taken some BP after getting it and he put 3 over the fence but this was literally his first in game at bat with it. I know it won’t happen every time but what a confidence booster. He loves the bat and hit has a great sweet spot. Now all the kids are wanting one. This is our 3rd CAT. We’ve had a couple CAT 7’s and they’ve held up really well. He outgrew one and the other is a -5 we’re still using. The CAT9 is a -8 so it allows a little more bat speed. Obviously has great pop.

Terrific bat
Perfect for my 10 year old son! He has a friend on his team that loves it just as much as he does and borrows it. They both smoke it to outfield with minimal effort. Line drives all over the place! Highly recommend!

Awesome bat!
My son plays 12U travel. Three other kids on our team have the same bat. Tons of pop. Would definitely recommend.

More pop than the Cat 9 2 piece connect
My son plays 11U. We first spent the extra money and went with the Cat9 2 piece connect and had mild success. About 5 of his teammates have the Cat9 1 piece and the pop was dramatically noticeable. I work with the boys during batting practice and the pop is quite significant. We returned the 2 piece in exchange for the 1 piece and have about 5 games under our belt with much more pop off the bat which has provided some much needed confidence as well.
