My granddaughter loves this jacket. I bought it for her to wear to soccer practice she couldn’t be happier. She’s 11 about 4ft 9 and slim, bought the XL it fits perfectly with room to grow.

Surprisingly Warm

Upon seeing the Marmot Ether Girls' Lightweight Hooded Windbreaker Jacket , I thought that there was no way that this windbreaker would be able to keep my daughter warm. They weren't kidding when they said "lightweight!" That being said, I was pleasantly surprised. This jacket really is warm and soft all the way down to the hands. The circulation inside the jacket is exceptional. The vibrancy of the color of this jacket really appealed to my daughter. I hope it resists fading. She is active in school sports and this jacket turns out to be just perfect for that. My daughter loves this jacket and said that she would recommend it to anyone who needs something thin that allows movement and repels rain.It doesn't seem possible when you unpack this unbelievably light windbreaker it but it is warm and much more durable than it at first appears.

Nice windbreaker, hood not as expected

This girl's windbreaker is effective, but slick and light enough to take up minimal space in an adult pocket, backpack, or tied around body. Our medium fit a slim girl at the top end of girl size 10. The jacket is fully double, except the hood. All is well sewn with no ravellings. It is advertised as having a way to conceal the hood when not needed. That feature is missing--there is no slit pocket or zipper in a collar, or any way to do anything but let is dangle. The zipper up the front works fine and is sturdy. The girl who tested it for me definitely took to it immediately.
