This is an okay attempt at a Version 1.0

I was actually excited for this video given that the other Lumary products allowed various levels of functionality and customization. This didn't seem to be the case here. I was trying to custom program a RGB light pattern for my 3 year old's bedroom but found that it was very limited. Not to mention, the light doesn't dim down to a comfortable level. I also think the LED lights could stand to be mounted in a better position too as it doesn't disperse light across the ceiling as well as some of the other units. This unit also CANNOT be grouped with other ceiling units which I found puzzling. It does have a better installation, just mount and wire holder to the ceiling and then twist the fixture to lock it in place. All in all, I was on the fence about this but upon playing with it for a little while, just found that this 1.0 version of this unit was leaving much to be desired. I'd rather have the ability to create soft RGB custom scenes which their other ceiling lights allow. I'd take another look at this light down the line. In my opinion, it has a better form factor than another "contemporary" looking unit they have which I purchased a few of but I think the upward LED light suffers.

so it is a nice light and works well but the mount was a bit different then what I usually see but I was able to make it work with some ingenuity

Good lights overall, but some stopped working after a while and app has inconsistencies

The lights are good, but there are inconsistencies in app and lights get out of sync. Also 2 out of 12 lights I ordered stopped working within just a month and half :(

Ads on app to control lights, require deep box for install

The media could not be loaded. These have been a pain since they arrived. First the back of the light has a large box coming out of it. This makes it almost impossible to install the light in an old box. Also when using the app to control the light you have to watch adds to access. I think that is ridiculous that they are trying to make more money off our purchase. These also do not work with alexa so you have to use the app with ads. To make the install possible, I did not remove the old box instead I made a wood ring to make room for the white box coming out of the back of the light. In my photos you can see the wood ring I made to make these able to install.

WiFi radio no longer works

Light worked great for about 4 weeks. No problems using the app or controlling it. Was setup on a schedule to turn on and off for sunset and sunrise along with other lights. Noticed a few days ago it no longer was automatically turning on or off based on my schedule. Was still able to manually control it in the app. I noticed the radio signal was at -91dBm but my WiFi antenna serving that area is only 10 feet away. Other WiFi switch on that same antenna working fine. As of today 5 weeks after ordering it, the WiFi radio comes on an off, I can monitor all connected devices and this one constantly shows offline, but sometimes goes online for a few seconds. Not satisfied and unfortunately it is now outside the Amazon return window.
