Cute

Super cute outfit. The doll body is not my favorite. Wish Lori stayed with the cloth bodies. But the doll/dog are cute and the accessories are always well made. Cute set and will make a great gift.

A dazed doll

This is quite an expensive doll for what there is included: a dog, a lead and a bag. There are no additional clothes with this product. However, it does feel good quality and is ready to gift due to the lovely cardboard packaging. However, opening the box, I was disappointed to discover that each part was wrapped in a plastic bag. This just produces unwanted plastic waste when we should be using sustainable packaging. A more environmentally friendly option should be used instead. I feel that Heather, the doll has a rather dazed look on her face. This is not helped by her very wide forehead. She is quite a chunky doll (maybe a size 12?) and does not have much of a figure. Comparing her with a Barbie or Chelsea doll, you notice the difference in body shape, so it is quite refreshing to see this alternative. I think that Heather looks rather masculine and I don’t think this is helped by the rather bland clothes. The clothes are easily removed with Velcro fastenings and the shoes slip on and off properly: they are not the ones that ping off and get lost! All of this product feels reasonable quality and I particularly like the chunky plait on the doll. The glasses for Heather just about stay on the doll, which is much better than other branded dolls we have tried in the past. The handbag has a Velcro opening which is ideal for storing said glasses. The dog’s lead is elasticated at both ends, but I have found my five year old struggles to get it to fit properly. Nugget, the dog, is surprisingly weighty, made from dense plastic. It feels as good quality as the doll. Whilst the doll has movable arms, legs and head, the dog does not move at all. Overall, this product is well-made and good quality. The small-ish accessories makes this suitable for 4 years and upwards, but even then this runs the risk of bits being lost. Whilst the overall style of the doll is not my favourite, Heather has proven very popular with my children. It will make a great gift and can fit in with other playsets of a similar size (she really is only 6 inches!).

Heather & Nugget.

This little doll arrives in a sealed box with a photo on the cover to show you the contents. It measures approx 16.5cm x 9cm x 4.5cm, would be easy to wrap & make a lovely small gift for a young child. Although described as a 6" doll, Heather is more like 6 1/2" high. She has blonde hair held back in a high plait & amber eyes. She is jointed at the neck (can look side to side not up & down), arms can move backwards & forwards but not out to the sides, legs can do the same & rotate out so that she can do the side splits but not put her legs together when sitting. Her knees, ankles, elbows & wrists have no articulation. Heather is a pretty little soft bodied plastic doll although I feel her expression is a little serious. Her top & trousers have velcro closures on the back & will fit most other 6" dolls including the American Doll Mini series. Her shoes are slip on, she has a pair of pink heart shaped glasses (which also fit Barbie & Sindy) plus a silver handbag with a velcro closure. She comes with her dog Nugget plus a black & white lead which can be attached to Heathers wrist with an elastic strap. Nugget is 5cm high from floor to top of his head & reminds me of Schleich animals (not on the same scale). He has no moving parts. She can stand on her own if positioned correctly both with her shoes on & in bare feet. These little dolls are adorable. They are little girls at a healthy weight in clothing that is age appropriate rather than the stick thin dolls in very short outfits we so often see. While the quality is not the best, the massive range of accessories, other dolls, horses, pets, playsets, clothes etc.. mean you can build a lovely world in a far more compact space then a 12" doll would need. Quite a lot of her accessories (such as food items which are not included in this set) are also a size which can be used by Barbies, Sindys & Steffi Dolls so adding to Lori dolls adds to all your smaller dolls.

Absolutely cute

Another adorable Lori doll, you cannot find any better value and better quality than this kind. Very detail, especially the little doggy, absolutely cute.

great price for a little doll

This is a great price for a little doll thats enjoyed by little ones, its smaller than i expected but its still a good size and price, the arms and legs move and hair can be styled too. i would recommend this type of doll, the other designs are also very nice and make a good set to get each for such a cheap price.

What A Super Cute Little Doll

I’d never heard of Lori Dolls brand before, they look a lot like ‘My Generation’ dolls only a tiny version at 6 inches (15 cm) so perfect for little girls to take with them in a backpack or coat pocket. Heather and Nugget the Spaniel and very nicely made, though no bendable joints at the knees or elbows. The legs move though as do the arms and neck. Unusually for a small doll she has glass eyes in a lovely brown shade. Her hair is very long and thick in a honey blonde shade plaited behind her head. She’s wearing a mauve T-shirt, black and white dogstooth design trousers and mauve and silver trainers. The top and trousers are removable with Velcro fastenings at the back very neatly done. The shoes come off too. She comes with a dog lead and stretchy collar for Nugget the black and white spaniel who is in a fixed sitting position. He does have strange white eyes and a nose. Heather also has a silver shoulder bag that opens and stylish mauve heart shaped glasses. This doll is very nicely made though oddly wide but I will assume that’s to give her stability to stand alone. It’s a lovely inexpensive doll to give to 3 year olds and over.
