Well made, works with Decker hill's #1 hump pig rings.
Purchased Lisle 61410 Angled Hog Ring Pliers, hoping they would work with the pig rings (Decker #1 humps) that were recommended by the person I bought several feet of 3/8 " Shock (Bungie) cord with the associated hooks. When I started looking for pliers, most seemed not only Chinese, (Lisle Corp. is in Iowa) for 3/4" and below hog rings but appeared to be stamped and poorly riveted. These pliers are well made, in fact the rivet for the hinge was one of the deciding factors in my purchase. Much to my surprise they handled the 1 inch "hump" rings and worked just fine. I did use a large pair of water pump pliers to flatten out the hump, but I had no problem fitting the doubled over cord into the ring and squeezing them shut. My first purchase of "hog rings or tools" but I can tell it won't be my last. Couldn't recommend Lisle more for a casual user, like my self.

Great value
I’m a auto technician and we currently have recall replace passenger seat occupied sensors. So I have to use these pretty regularly (about 2-3 times per week). I’ve done about 10 seats so far and they’re holding up fine. My only gripe and why I have it 4 stars is the sleeve on the handles move around. I solved this by removing the sleeves and putting some super glue inside.

Good hobbyist quality
The angle head is nice and makes it easier to get the ring where you need to while still easily squeezing it closed. I like the spring to hold the ring in place while you line it up. Good leverage. I had no problem or pain after crimping 50 or so rings. The ring ends up more triangular than round after you crimp it. This can leave the sharp ends sticking out a little. The handle grip covering moves around. I may try to glue it. So far I’m just living with it. Good for occasional use. The grip issue would stop me from using them as a pro.

Worked great!
Used these to reupholster my Chevelle seats..worked great! Only complaint I have is the grips slide around but didn't affect the quality of the job.

easier for these old hands to use.
Much better than freebies you get with upholstery kits. Spring loaded cool feature. One less thing to have to be concerned with,. Very nice.

Great purchase
Im glad we spent the few extra dollars for this set. They are quality and easy to use. For my first time on lg job it helped having the angled tip. This allows you to see what you're clipping to. For those of us that are beginners, this helps a lot.
