Heavy duty PVC slip on 2" check-valve
This was a solid addition to my sewerage pump repair. 2" heavy duty PVC slip on and tighten. It has a long rubber gasket to prevent any leakage.

Works great.
I bought this check valve to put on my 2" septic pump outlet line. Overall this is a good product. The compression style fittings made it easy to install. The quality of materials used seam to be on par with other higher prices check valves. Keep sure to pay attention to the flow direction and the orientation of the valve for vertical and horizontal installations. It is clearly marked on the body of the valve and if you do not have it positioned correctly it will not only not work correctly but cause more problems. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Ease of mind
This was easy to install, some pipe cutting needed but not hard to do. The old ones had a psi rating about 10 and the rubber was developing a bulge, a disaster in the making. These are sturdy and no rubber parts on the outside, no clamps its compression tighten.

Installed and working
If pipes seem too close together it can slide up or down on one far enough to clear the other and then slide back down on the other. Very heavy duty. Hard to believe it could ever fail. Super good compression seals.

Not so quiet
It went on very easy, functioned fine, but it's loud in comparison to a Zoeller Quiet Check valve. I used a Zoeller on a previous install and like it, but I switched to this one (new home) because I really liked the Liberty mascerator pump I bought and this one was available for immediate shipping. The old cast iron check went "BOOM", this Liberty went "Boom", and the Zoeller, goes "thump". Sorry, but this is not a silent check valve.
