It was great but

So I absolutely loved the dress. I wore it at Anime Detour in Minnesota and got so many compliments on it. But my problem (which was a big deal to me so it lost 2 stars for it) was that and the sparklies (the sequins) kept falling off everywhere. I went from shiny to little glue dots everywhere and not very many sequins in the span of a day. The other problem I had was on the front tentacle the seam wasn’t super great so it had some random straight patches where it should have all looked ruffled. The fabric was also a little itchy for me but I expect that with sequin outfits but if the fabric had been a little thicker then I probably would have felt the sequins less and been less itchy. The fit was perfect and it was great the rest of the way though.

Glitter chunks everywhere!

You see that thing on my face? the dot? it's NOT a part of my costume, it is a glitter chunk from this dress. It sheds EVERYWHERE. Poorly designed/ produced for the price. I also had to wear a sequin purple skirt under the dress or else my front and back private areas would have been exposed. NOT for taller girls. I am 5'1 and had this issue. Would not reccomend for curvier bodies either, the back had a lot of wrinkling/bunching due to my shape. other than these issues, fit as expected. I purchased a large, I am approx 186 lbs and wear a size 14.

Sequins Everywhere

On first glance this dress is great. I normally fit S/M but I wanted to be sure it wasn’t too loose so I ordered a small. The dress wasn’t tight but once it got to my waist and hip area it didn’t go very far past my mid butt. I ended up using stockings and fishnets to give a water witch vibe but the dress did not fit me on my lower half as well as my upper half. The dress material is not scratchy but the breast area has a line that if you try to pull your breast too high the tightness may make you look like you have double breast and with as much pulling as I had to do it was impossible. The dress comes with a tag on the left breast pocket (that is noticeable), if the tag is removed it is unreturnable but I was not satisfied with my purchase. My biggest issue was for paying $40 the sequins would not stay on. I was not doing any rough activities but every time I moved or sat or put the dress on sequins would fall out all over the place. The cleanup was annoying and whenever I sat at the event I went to there were sequins everywhere.

Was a good purchase

This costume came in the right size and fit how it should. I'm just pregnant and thought it would work out and didn't. The black sequins do come off easily and stick to everything. But other then that, was comfy and cute.

Surprised it fits

I didnt expect this to fit. A lot of these "plus size" costumes are never truely plussuze especially when all the weight is in the belly area. But much to my surprise it actually fit (im 5ft & 260lbs with all the weight in the front). Cute costume that actually fits

Zip broke off almost immediately.

Runs very small I'm an 18 and it fit perfectly so I cant imagine someone who is a 22 would feel comfortable in this. The zip broke off completely when I tried to do it up again after trying it on so my comment that the fabric is good quality was made moot. Shame as I was super excited to wear it.

Faire fureur!

La taille représente bien, par contre la robe est plutôt courte. Parfait si vous voulez qu’on voient le bas de vos fesses! ???? Les bretelles descendent toujours également, j’ai du apporter quelques ajustements.

Poor quality; very cheap and small.

Incredibly cheap material. Very thin and the zipper broke before I could even try it on. I ended up having to pin the back closed because of the broken zipper. The sequins used for the tentacle part of the body started falling off and I've been finding them around my house since Halloween. This is the second costume I have bought from Leg Avenue, and the quality of the costume has only declined. I'm very disappointed, as it's difficult to find plus sized costumes for women, and I thought this could be it but I guess not. Awful. I won't be buying a costume from this company again in the future.
