It’s Important To Know That Not Everyone…

…knows how to set things up. Common sense isn’t so common. I have 2 of these fans. The pedestal & base are perfectly sturdy, not wobbly (that’s due to user error, keep in mind). There is a semi-hidden dial that allows you to put the vents up and down to suit your needs (so it blows how and where you want it to). If you feel the air getting lighter, and not as strong, then you can actually vacuum the dust from the back (because that’s called equipment maintenance). The remote’s controls are simple. Oh, so simple. If you can’t figure them out, then I can’t help you. There were no scratches, marks, rust, etc. on my fans because - guess what - I paid attention to the filters and chose “new” when I searched for the products. (Can’t help you if you can’t figure out how Amazon works after all these years) But these fans help so much that I use them all year round - for sleeping (I’ve recently become a hot sleeper) and for cooling off in the summer (lock it on you on a warm night and you’ll save tons on the air conditioner’s electricity bill). They aren’t particularly noisy, but not quiet. Excellent for white noise, though. It’s worth the money. Go for it. Just remember that these silly bad reviews are mainly user errors.

Rattling Sound

I love this fan! It’s very quite compared to others I’ve purchased in the past. However after a couple of uses it started to make a loud rattling sound that comes and goes. The rattling is coming from the power button area. I tried tightening up the screws but that didn’t help. I use the fan at night and the noise is keeping me up. Returning it for another fan just like it. Even though it rattles I’m still giving it 5 stars!

It's very LOUD

I had this fan before. I loved it. I ran it 24/7 for over 10 years. Sadly it was broken in a move, so I ordered another. Unlike my old fav, this one is SO LOUD! I'm talking louder than an old school window AC unit. Also, It was missing the assembly screws, and remote. Going back.

Doesn't take up much space.

I like that it is small, doesn't take up much space, and it works. There is a remote control, which requires 2 AAA batteries, and even though I can't get that one darn screw in where it should have been like the other three, it hasn't toppled over or anything. See images for more.

Works great!

My office space gets a little too warm when I have lights on for proper camera lighting. This fan works great for cooling down, and it's pretty quiet. I love that it's on a pedestal, it's the perfect height and you can't beat the remote control!

Best fan I ever had

I used to own this fan and lasted years of everyday use. The only reason I got this one was because I stripped and felt over braking it. I definitely recommend this fan.
