Works great for my 4yo

My 4yo is just learning to skate. She wears size 10t shoes and her feet are just big enough for these skates (have to tighten straps all the way). I appreciate the fact these can expand in size and grow with my kid. These can be sharpened (need to take them to a professional) and I highly recommend you do otherwise they won't have good grip on the ice.

Great skates if you don't skate too often

The concept is pretty great. I love how they grow with your kids feet. They do seem a bit flimsy but if you only skate a few times a year they'll get the job done. It doesn't look like they are too comfortable either but my kids haven't complained. I think we can get a good couple of years with these hopefully

Size is different

I got the 11-1 size but they don’t fit my son. I want to return them as I am paying to rent skates that are a size one that fit him great!

Skates run small

My 9 year old son is a size 1.5 in bog boots, so I assumed size 1-4 would fit him. He said he had to curl his toes to put these on. We will have them for his younger brother, the skates themselves look like they will work just fine.

Good product. Great price

The adjustable size works good. The skates will be able to be used for at least 2 seasons. Buckles are much easier than tying each skate lace.

Great starter skates

Are my kids going to be Olympic ice skaters? No. They’re not. But they do have an interest in casual ice skating for fun a few times a week through the some of the winter. I’m not sure I want to buy new skates every year, so with these going from sizes 4-7 we should at least get us two seasons out of them. They adjust easily, my child secures them herself— easy on, easy off. Just hold the liners in place behind the ankle as you pull off. A bit of a pain to get them back in there. Not impossible, just annoying. My kid likes these particular skates, she’s managed to last 3 hours skating in 20° weather without complaining her feet were freezing…or sore! She was wearing standard bomba socks, so not even wool. If they had been available for my other kiddo’s size, I’d have bought another pair. Absolutely recommend these for casual skating fun. They’re obviously not appropriate for figure skating lessons or hockey…
