Kids will Enjoy and learn at the same time

The media could not be loaded. Kids enjoyed playing with this. The goal is to use your creativity to create a domino effect and line up the pieces so that the domino hits a small two-winged fan. Once that happens another ball is released which creates another domino effect and goes over the step to drop the final ball into a bowl. I know it seems long but in reality, it's a very quick 6-second effect. It's not easy as kids have to align the pieces properly to make all the effects work. This is where the learning occurs. When things don't work or the domino effect doesn't work, kids learn how adjusting the pieces helps or makes it worse. You could use the parts and make something different if needed but the options may be limited. For the price of the toy, I think it does a good job of helping them understand the basic principles and learn and have fun at the same time. As you can see in my video, my kids didn't master it yet and are still trying to make a full successful domino effect. They had fun and were learning so that's all that matters. Definitely would recommend this toy for kids and is also giftable to give to others.

The perfect gift for my 4 year old

For over a year now my son would line things up and watch them topple over in a domino effect. Cause and effect is such an important thing to learn, so as soon as I saw this set I had to get it for him. It’s so fun watching him create new Rube Goldberg style obstacle courses. Of course being 4 1/2 they don’t always work, but that’s half the fun. Experimenting and figuring out what does and doesn’t work. This set has everything a young child needs to create more than just your standard everyday domino line. Even my spouse and I have gotten a little carried away seeing what obstacles we can create.

Fun to set up …..

This is easy and fun to assemble . It has simple instructions to follow for different set ups. Each one has a different outcome. Then the kids like to create their own.

Good value and fun

I got these for my four year old, and with some guidance from parents or grandparents, he's enjoyed playing with these and learning some of the basic fundamentals of physics. At $16, they're a good value at present for the variety of pieces that the set comes with.

Fun beginners domino set for kids

My son loves building different things with blocks and legos, so I figured he would enjoy dominos as well. This set is really fun, it includes 45 dominos (40 small and 5 large) as well as a whole bunch of pieces to set up tricks and more complicated builds. There are two balls that can be used to roll into other pieces and can slide down the ramp. The set also provides directions and multiple different set up options, but once you master those, you can experiment and make your own. My almost five year old definitely required my assistance with this, and struggled a bit with setting up the more tricky setups, but he enjoyed the finished products. I do wish that the dominos were a bit sturdier, I find they are kind of lightweight, so they tend to fall over a little too easily. Overall, this is a fun introduction to dominos for kids.

Entry level domino set for introducing to Kids

its good for my 8 yr old kid, but my 6-year-old has a problem setting up. its due to the weight of Dominos, it's need patience. hope it will be more sturdy. however, it gives a good idea of how to do setup and the additional items like the stairs and flip are fun to watch. will be more fun if there are more parts to do more experiments.

One failed trick, but decent intro set

This is a good set for introducing kids to dominos and basic domino tricks. These dominos do not have flat edges which make them more unpredictable and unable to be used for some domino tricks outside of what is included in this set. If your kid decides they really like dominos, they will probably want a lot more dominos and the flat-edged type. However, this is a good intro set for testing their interest. This has some good intro tricks like steps and a direction changer. The “highwire act” did not work for us. The piece that slides down does not slide straight, but swings from the domino impact. This causes it to not hit the bottom domino the right way to continue the topple. Even excluding this trick, the set is a good value and a lot of fun for little ones.

Fun STEM toy for my 5-year-old!

This is a fun STEM toy for my kid who is currently into domino effects and obstacle courses. I like that there are different pieces to this set, and the combinations are endless. My only complaint is that the dominos are really light, so they fall over easily. This causes frustration for my 5-year-old, who doesn't have fully developed fine motor skills yet. Other than that, this is a great toy that provides entertainment for more than 30 minutes at a time!
