Glad to find these for my Kohler toilets... hopefully that 'snap on' will keep my lab from removing them as he did the others w/typical plumbers' putty install. It's been about 3 weeks now, so far so good! Nice to have a bolt cap! Isn't life grand!

Cat Toy!
I know this sounds crazy, but I bought these for our cat. He stole the ones covering the toilet bolts to play with. I bought him his own and siliconed the originals back on the toilet. Perfect shape for a cat toy - they wobble great and he loves to carry them and bat them around.

Here's how intall them so they're tight (but I still don't like the design)
These are designed to snap together tightly. They are hard to get off, so make sure you get your toilet properly tightened down how you want it permanently. Look under the plastic domed caps and you will see a little ridge running around the bottom. The edge of the flat discs snap into that ridge. It takes a firm push. On the flat discs notice that it says "This side up". That's because they're beveled on that side to make them snap to the domes. So first the disc goes on your toilet mounting bolt, then the nut goes over the disc and gets tightened, then you snap the dome over the disc. You need a very short toilet bolt for these. Another thing to watch out for is tightening the nut too hard on the disc can deform the the disc so they won't snap. That's what I don't like about these. The discs should've been thicker and threaded so you just screw the domes on. I also hate that there's no instructions anywhere, so people will end up just laying these over the bolts without snapping them, and we'll have YET MORE toilets in the world missing their bolt covers :(

Perfect for purpose
My dog keeps taking these off and hiding them. These were ordered for an extra set. I think I’m going to super glue them down.
