Klein Tools 69409 Line Splitter adskiller varme fra neutrale og jordede ledninger på standard 120-volts udtag, så strømmålinger kan foretages med en strømklemme. Don’t know why I waited so long...

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been eyeballing this device for… oh, about 20 years. (Hey, I didn’t want to rush it!) I have a similar device I made out of some Romex and plug ends, and it works, but it’s not pretty. This one works, it’s compact, it’s simple to use, it's professional, AND it’s pretty. I wasn’t sure if one side of the device was 10x reading, and the other was straight, but both sides are 10x. I have no idea why everything’s 10x, but it is. So, for example if you’re reading 11.03 amps, you’re actually looking at 1.10 amp. Kinda strange, but I’m sure there was a good reason. It’s a simple thing, but unless you make your own monstrosity like I did, you can’t read current with your clamp meter on a cable with more than one wire in it. This solves the problem, and even though I have to move the decimal point over one space, I love it. Hope this helps.

Nice quality line splitter

I bought this to replace my other line splitter that I had. My old one never fit very tightly when plugged in to an outlet. It was always a bit too loose. This one fits nice and secure in the outlet. Work great with my clamp meter and makes it much easier for checking current than my older line splitter.

Works with my Klein CL800

I use it to measure watts for plug outlets. I wanted to see how much electricity I was using for something like a hair blow dryer. It works just know it is 10x.

Works like a champ

This Klein tools AC splitter works like a champ with my FLIR Hall Effect current meter. There is only a 10x current section, which is exactly what you want - for enhanced readability and precision, as well as a shorter, more wieldy stub to plug into the outlet.

For some reason I had it in my head when I ordered it that one side was 1x, the other was 10x, but it reads 10x no matter (which makes sense after I thought about it). Fine for my use, just a heads-up for anyone else who got confused like I did.

Brilliant in its simplicity

Why buy a larger model that measures boh 1x and 10x. This 10x model suits any household needs. Why take a 1x reading when you can take a 10x reading (more accurate), then just more the decimal point one place. For example, take a 2.5A reading, then simple move the decimal and your actual reading is 0.25A. And it's a solid , durable appearing device. I'm pleased.

Idéal pour vérifier le courant sur un appareil 120 volts Au lieu d'avoir un " split cord" pour pouvoir placer l'amperemetre..il suffit de brancher votre équipement a vérifier dans le socle et l'appareil en fiche..vs placez l'amperemetre dans le " beignet" de détection Moi je le laisse dans mon kit d'amperemetre

Great tool people need to remember to read instructions. Reading on meter is 10times what actual current is . READ INSTRUCTIONS. Great time saver compared to splitting wires or making my own cable.
