Great but could be improved

This brush has a lot of great features for people with mixed and thick textured hair. The bristles are strong but flexible. The handle has a nice grip. It doesn't feel cheap. Its easy to take apart and clean. Though I will say that if you have a hard time grabbing small thin items then pulling the bristle tracks out and putting them back in may be difficult. It made short work of my tangles. Felt great on my scalp and didn't smell like cheap rubber or plastics. The only issue I have is that the brush head slides out if you use the brush in a traditional way. I wish that the opening was towards the handle rather than the top of the brush head so that when brushing my hair it isn't pulled out. This may be a nonissuse for others but I have especially thick hair so rather than the brush pulling through it, sometimes the brush head just slid out. I was able to work around this but it did make for a longer hair session than it could have been having to stop to push the brush head back in. Otherwise this is a great brush. Its cheaper than a Wet Brush and the bristle tips won't break down in hair oils if you use those types of products as this brush does not have those bristle tips. I strongly recommend it.

Elyse Meyers (if you’re not following her on TikTok, do your mental health a favor and follow her!) brought me to purchasing this brush. I’ve had curly hair for 38 years and this is the first brush I’ve found that works amazing for us naturally curly humans. If you have naturally curly hair, this brush is a must!

Great for tangles

The Cushion removes easily to clean. It does not pull your hair when brushing. Detangles.hair For all types of hair. Perfect size, fits in hand great. Only downfall is sometimes when your brushing hair the cushion part will try to slide out. All in all it’s a good brush.

Hard bristles.

Great brush with a grip that is very comfortable to hold. I find the bristles to be quite hard and I have to go easier on my scalp when I brush. Does a good job at detangling my thick, straight hair and didn't cause any damage. The removable piece makes it.a breeze to clean but it took a bit of effort to remove. Highly recommend!

Excellent brush

I have the popular name-brand version of this brush. I wouldn't say this is interchangeable, but it's a close dupe and really good quality. For whatever reason the other just glides through my hair a tiiiiiny bit more easily, but this is really good and everyone's hair is different. I like how you can remove rows of bristles to clean or just change bristle density. I'll definitely use this regularly!

Detangles Nicely, but Heavy and Hard Brush

-This brush ran through my hair nicely and detangled it pretty easily when dry. -It left the hair a little bit staticky or dry after brushing that I just had to smooth out with my hands. -It was a little harder brushing through wet hair right after being washed. I compared it to my other detangling brush and it took just slightly longer than my normal brush, but not my a lot. -The non slip handle grips are nice and easy to hold -The brush itself is kind of heavy and the bristles are very hard plastic that don't bend or give at all and is kind of uncomfortable on the head/scalp. Like, if you could hurt your head if you're not careful or brushing your kids hair and can't feel how hard you're brushing. -My kids tried it and it was a pretty quick "no" for them. It hurt to pull on their tangles. -Overall an OK brush but not my first choice or go-to for brushing and de-tangling my hair.
