Tres chic- with a few cons

UPDATE: After only 1-1/2 years we noticed the finish is wearing off on the underside of the faucet neck. Two dark spots are visible. Very strange and disappointing. It’s beautiful and we love the cool French vintage vibe! The only issue is that due to the faucet being so high, there is a lot of water backsplash on the back edge of our apron sink. Physics. Because I am in a wheelchair it hits me in the eye sometimes. Lol The nickle is prettier than others I’ve seen.

Beautiful kitchen faucet!

After reviewing several brands of kitchen faucets, I purchased this one in the oiled rubbed bronze finish for our turn of the century Victorian. I was very pleased with the style and quality for the price. The plumber who installed it commented that it was relatively easy to install and he, too, was really impressed with the quality. Being that my existing sink had 5 holes, I liked that this bridge design covered the 3 center holes and the sprayer covered the 4th hole. I ordered the Kingston Brass soap dispenser and drain kit to complete the set up. The spout sets up high and swivels nicely (great for filling those large stock pots)! Highly recommend this product!

First impressions would be a 5 star! Solid feel & classy look. Unfortunately after 5 months the sprayer (which we rarely use) started leaking water out of the head fittings continuesly. Disappointed with no way to return it at this point UPDATED*** After looking at the problem closer, the head of my sprayer just needed tightned. when I wrote my original review I didn't realize it was a threaded fitting. So I added another star to more accurately describe my overall satisfaction with my faucet.

Love it!!

I love that this faucet has a vintage look. It is perfect for my old farm house sink and really compliments it. It is beautiful and holding up well, would definitely buy again!

Three components broke in under a year. Replaced it with a better (and cheaper) faucet.

In the year I've had this the sprayer hose exploded, because its just a light weave of cheap plastic covering a non-reinforced silicone hose that can't take water pressure. If a single strand breaks the silicone hose will push out of the weave. Amazingly cheap and bad design. Kingston refused to replace it. Next the sink developed a drip because, I thought, the cold water cartridge failed, so I tried to order a replacement, but kingston doesn't sell them and lists the item as out of stock until the middle of next month. Not wanting to leak water down the drain for a month I turned off the cold line, and the leak went to a slow drip. The only way the sink could still be leaking is if the hot cartridge has also failed. So, this several hundred dollar faucet has had both cartridges and the sprayer hose fail inside a year. Absolutely terrible considering the price. Even the cheap plastic faucets I've had in rentals last a couple years before going out. This product is completely terrible, warranty support is non-existent and you can't even buy the needed replacement parts. I'm bought a $60 faucet from Delta, no problems so far and, most importantly, replacement parts are available if there are problems. Stay away from Kingston products.

Looks great for our retro-fitted buffet and farmer sink. Seems to be very heavy-duty construction.
